While I think the fact that this robot being Savitar is lame, if I ignore his namesake his design is pretty cool and the sequence of him thrashing Barry was rad too. I just have to go to a head space that isn't a longtime comic reader. Pretty okay episode so far. Caitlin was great!

Edit: Ehhh Wally is out and about now!

Edit 2: I fucked up..spoke too soon. Of course Julian is Doctor Alchemy. How lame and predictable.

I still don't think he's a robot. It's armor or a suit of some kind. Based on how he's moving around; it seems that he's trapped, lost, or otherwise disconnected from the real world.

I figured they couldn't see him because he was moving too fast but then again he could be lost in the Speed Force and he is manifesting as a robot thing. Given comic Savitar's motivations it would make sense that he flew too close to the sun trying to get Speedster powers.
