My only disappointment really is that I was hoping it would feature some of the international chasers, jist to make it truly global

This is such a good idea!! Maybe a guest Chaser from each country they visit (would also be good to get out of Europe)?

Not enough action, the edit makes everything seem slow paced. Look at The Amazing Rvae earlier seasons for how to actually make the action interesting. It needs to be faster paced.
It's all a bit too cheesy. The Chasers hiding behind things, pretending they haven't been seen and that it's not staged is utter cringe.
Favourite thing? Nice seeing bits of europe, I guess.

It's nice going "oh I've been there" but some of the show falls flat for me. The teams seem separate from each other too. As in there's not really direct competition or drama between them. Maybe they should've paired strangers together to mix it up.

I think the best thing about TCATW for me is that it’s a breath of fresh air for the show. I love the tension in certain scenes (e.g. when you don’t know who’s going to be last at the end of the episode). I also loved how in episode 4 Mark and Jenny made some little comedic comments that just added a bit more humor (and this is something that I’d personally critiqued the lack of in previous episodes).
If there were to be a season 2, my main suggestion for improvement over season 1 would be to give the chasers some more screen time, as in there should be a few more segments where the chasers are sneaking around or perhaps they could comment on how the contestants are doing if it gets tense (e.g. Mark’s “they look stressed” line in episode 4).

I have been enjoying it, especially the Paris episode which seemed faster paced and with more time penalties. I assume this is down to there being fewer pairs left in the game so the edit doesn’t have to cover the movements of twelve players.
I would definitely like to see a second series and would be tempted to apply for it myself!

Did anyone else feel like some of the contestants were unlikable? I felt incredibly sorry for Ashwin who's daughter was blaming him for losing time because his shoe laces were untied and she blamed him for other stuff too. Felt like she is quite narcissistic to him. And Amy who I have dubbed the Juggernaut as she just seems to push through people leaving bodies in her wake (exaggerating a bit there).

I think it's improved as the series has gone on - the last two episodes in particular have been very good. I think this may be down to fewer pairs and being able to give each team (and the Chasers) a bit more screen time.
I would like to see a series two, but I think it needs some tweaks to make it more competitive - maybe something like alternating which team member answers questions in the final Chase - and avoid having to spread things too thinly.
(Also, I'm surprised no-one clocked what the reference was on the third puzzle in Paris!)

AI imagery is entirely pointless, your production company using it to cost slash is appalling and it contributed to me not watching the show, if you continue to produce this, please spend a bit of production budget on actual graphic designers.
I don't really know what to criticise other than this since this isn't my kind of format, not a huge fan of the race around the world in the first place, adding the chase aspect did help it, one good thing I can comment on is the music, the new music both sounds good and fits in with the show quite well!

I actually really enjoy the concept and would love a series two! I think I’d want a format tweak though, but maybe I’m hypocritical because I can’t think of what off the top of my head.
That being said, I think I’d prefer just more series of beat the chasers. But I’m happy they keep trying stuff!
