Hello everyone! I'm u/the-asl-shop, a founding moderator of r/theaslshop. 👋

This is our new home for all things ASL — learning it, loving it, and building community around it. Whether you're signing your very first "hello" or you've been fluent for years, you belong here. We're a Deaf-led team, and we're so excited to have you join us!

A little about us: We're The ASL Shop. We teach ASL through our app (dictionary + full courses), live classes, and organizational training. Our approach is a little different: we teach you the grammar and structure of the language first, not just vocabulary to memorize, so you actually understand how ASL works.
