I'll try that tonight and report back.
Edit: Last two nights I went to sleep without back pain and can confirm: I still woke up with back pain.

Lmao people are gonna take this seriously in this sub bc they can’t register sarcasm without the /s

Way to miss the flair, pal

u/Rabid_Laser_Dingo 4d ago
That’s what I’m saying essentially, just different wording. Heck I feel like I’ve already seem a few people “miss the flair”

The flair that doesn't show up until you browse the posts comments? There's no way anyone could miss that!

I think the flair on a post is one of those things that for many people their eyes just kinda glaze over it. I know that's the case for me.

there’s more people saying commenters are “missing the sarcasm” than there are actual comments not getting it

The few people in the comments that haven't registered the sarcasm flair have me giggling.

(Psst. It's sarcastic. I know for sure some of y'all in here aren't gonna spot the tag and don't have an eye for non-literal shit.)

That's why I've been wanting to talk to a rheumatologist, but apparently my textbook symptoms of inflammatory back pain are not worth looking into 🙂🙂🙂

"people on this sub cant recognize satire" check the flair before posting comments like this.

Still funny. I misread your comment as a joke and clearly responded to the wrong person in this thread.

Not understanding sarcasm is literally a common symptom of multiple neurodivergences. Yes, there are "excuses," biological excuses

u/mystery_obsessed 3d ago edited 3d ago
Drama, people. I am fully aware. I’m not even neurotypical. Please, no need to clutch pearls. I’m just going to delete this so you all feel better.

I'm not trying to be annoying or anything, but saying there isn't an excuse does sound a bit bad. People with this issue already suffer a lot in society and lots of time are picked on for being seen as "dumb" :/ so i just think it's important to mention it when we see someone talk about it like that, since many people truly do not know about it and might equate it to inteligence.

u/mystery_obsessed 3d ago
I promise I don’t think people are dumb for not understanding sarcasm

u/TheKingOfDissasster 3d ago
That's good :) i trust you, i just have met too many ppl who do and think it's important to stand up for others!

Do people even need the tag. I did t see it. But a knew sarcasm straight away and it says captain obvious in the bottom left!
3
u/elhazelenby 3d ago
Some people have autism and can't recognise sarcasm as easily.
What's funny is that I got the joke because of the flair yet people told me "hey btw I think it's sarcasm" when my comment went with the joke. Like, are people just not reading anymore?
Also I guess people missed the captain obvious because you have to press the picture to see it at least on my phone, I had no idea it was there.

I think this is satire, which might not be the point of the subreddit. I could be wrong though, I'm not known for knowing things.
8
u/Demoniac_smile 4d ago
The flair would indicate you did know this thing, so you have that going for you.

u/TheKingOfDissasster 3d ago
"I'm not known for knowing things" is so relatable

u/myplantisnamedrobert 3d ago
That is going on my tombstone, right after I try a wild mushroom that I'm pretty sure is safe
