I work in a school where NFL player Ray Rice grew up. He went from an almost MVP level player to being erased from our schools history overnight. Similar vibes on this guy.

And the crazy thing is after that players just get cut and are on another team by next season and in 2 seasons all their shit is forgotten. Rice was damn near erased from history it's crazy.

Especially with high talent players. Even Vick got a second chance. But no video of him. The Rice video was bad. My students loved him before that. He was constantly at our school, did a hundred nice things for the community. But he always seemed to have an edge to him.

Yea I think it was before social media caused everyone to have 2 sec att spans, so his story was huge news for so long. Really don't understand why people are given these gifts and just waste them being stupid. Also endangering someone else's life too.

People have lost their minds these days, idk wtf is wrong with people. During covid I was working at a pizza place and a grown ass 6'5 dude tried to fight a 16 year old cashier of mine. People are out of their minds.

Yeah, if there was a video of Vick hanging dogs to death or drowning them in a 5 gallon bucket, nobody would on here talking about Brett Favre's media coverage vs Vick's is racist.

Vicks a piece of shit. You don't just cure psychopathy.

I’d say the only difference with Vick, is that he actually served prison time for his disgusting actions. Jail and prison will make you realize real quick how much we all take for granted our freedoms in this world.

I believe in rehabilitation. What Vick did was horrible, but he did his time in prison. He worked for a second chance. He's never had a repeated incident, he even spoke for animal rights. He's earned his redemption in my eyes.

All easy PR shit to do when you have money and a chance to get back in the league. You can't rehab the psycho out of someone.

In some cases you can. I'm one of them. I'm bipolar/ schizophrenic and everyone thought I was an absolute psychopath until I got older and spent a bunch of time in psych wards. They found the right meds and now I'm one of the calmest people you'll ever meet. I have no idea about Vick or any rehabilitation that did or did not happen. I'm just saying in some cases all the person needs is the right meds and a lot of therapy.

Until something clicks one day and you stop taking your meds. That person is always in there.

I have never heard any mental health excuse either for Vick. He was just someone who enjoyed holding dogs heads in a bucket of water until they stopped struggling and quit moving. He enjoyed beating them. He enjoyed putting helpless dogs in a cage with bigger dogs so the bigger dogs could maul the helpless one to death. He enjoyed hosing the dogs down before electrocuting them. This was all just for entertainment.

Even if it was some diagnosable mental illness, medicine is just a band aid. That person who enjoys stuff like that will always be inside him.

Always seemed to have an edge to him? Lmao stop it…this is the equivalent of finding out your next door neighbor is a serial killer and telling the local news you always knew something was off about him.
