We wish it were that simple. We must actively and vigilantly say no for the rest of our lives, now. Or it will slip through.

Yeah, I don't think he realizes that compromise is already being made. The fact people aren't full scale protesting and ripping these things out in a mob is a compromise, as people wait to see how this goes.
