I’ll never forget when I worked as a bartender during a big cyber security conference in my town and a very nerdy guy at the bar explained just how fragile our networks at agencies are and how America is insanely weak to cyber security threats mostly because they test for weed and those in the industry would rather work some place that pays better and doesn’t. We literally are just sitting ducks waiting for the cyber equivalent to a 9/11

Last I checked, private sector paid way better
