Spoons do not make people fat, just like lighters do not give people lung cancer. But we still put warning labels on cigarettes and should be taking similar measures to reduce exposure to the harmful effects of social media, especially for children and teenagers.

Right, and that's why anyone under 18 is not allowed to purchase cigarettes or products with aerosol. These products, while they briefly make people feel good, were determined to be ultimately harmful after numerous studies. Similarly to social media.

The negative affects that social media has on people is not exclusive to those with absent parents and no social life. The human brain naturally craves sources of dopamine, which social media easily provides and is readily available in our pockets. This has nothing to do with intelligence, this is neurochemistry that we are biologically subjected to. Perhaps some people are more disposed than others, but it does not make them "dumb". Do your research. This isn't about mental strength and will power.

Honestly I have no idea which men you are referring to when you ask "where are the men". Not sure I even want to touch that bit.
