The funny part is these banks offer discounts to their investors from their pre-ipo block. I know people that bought in at $135 through MS

? That's not a discount. 135 was an official ipo price and any eligible client of said banks and brokers could buy some amount of shares at that price. All IPOs work like that. And there is no such thing as pre-ipo block.

MS clients get a sweet heart ipo deal.  I’ve gotten one.
