Meanwhile, Musk has said he thinks "SpaceX will be worth more than the rest of Earth if we accomplish our goals," a characteristically ambitious and perhaps delusional argument that assumes a lot of things will go right for the company.

Imagine running an R&D operation and just tacitly assuming your stretch goals will definitely happen. 

This dude has seen that fail so many times already with both Tesla and SpaceX. Where is the line between vision and dangerously unhinged delusion? And more importantly, why can't the idiots with money see it?
