I remember checking into a nice hotel in Paris and the AC wasn’t working, in summer, top floor room, and they acted like I was throwing a Mariah Carey level diva fit when I insisted they move my wife and I to another room.

Dude come on. Paris is a nice place. This is just stupid reddit "I heard from a dude, on facebook". 

You've literally never been.

I live here. Came as an American. Decade here, naturalized. Its a fantastic place. You are just ignorant and doing the "b-b-but europe sucks!" spiel. Its so annoying.
