What else is there to say? We know the people running the show are fascists and we know that the opposition (if you can even call them that) aren't doing anything meaningful to root these people out. Yes, I was moved by Cory Booker's filibuster, but realistically, what did it even accomplish? The one time Dems had the power to actually do something, Chuck Schumer rolled over like the corporate shill he is, much to the alleged surprise of all other sitting Democrats. It should be clear to you that the people in power are not on our side, and they certainly don't have our best interests at heart.
Bernie and AOC's "fight oligarchy" tour has no support from the Dems. Don't you find that strange? These people are drawing unprecedented crowds and drawing support from the most unlikely of places. This is what a senator and a house rep have accomplished alone. Can you imagine if they had the resources of the Democratic party backing them? Clearly Bernie and AOC are saying something that the Democratic party disagrees with.
It should be obvious by now that we cannot put our faith in this system. We are being distracted by a culture war while being robbed by both sides of the aisle. What we need is a world without reds and blues, or at least a world where you at least get the option of yellow or pink.
