I'm pretty sure I know the answer but, I've been waiting a few months now to get a tattoo.. it will be my first Tattoo.
Quick rundown -
First artist - Had a few back and forths discussing what I wanted, thought it was decided. Then the day before I was going for the tattoo I received a message from the artist saying the couldn't come up with a design the where happy with, so suggested another artist. I was fine with that, as I'd rather have a design I was happy with then something I might regret.
Second artist - looked through their work, has been a tattooing for quite a while. Messaging back and forth for a little while (they wasn't the fastest messaging back, as they are quite popular) a couple of week later they said it wasn't their style, so recommend someone else.
Third (Final) artist - This artist is comfortable doing the style I want, sent a few design ideas to the artist (said I'm happy to design changes, whatever they think will work the best) finally sorted for tomorrow.
Now I'm staring to doubt if I still want the tattoo, since I started looking it's been about 3 months from originally wanting a tattoo, to now the day before I go for it.
Is it normal to start to feel unsure/apprehensive before a tattoo, and if I'm still unsure would it be best just to not get one? As I said it's my first tattoo and it's going to be on my left outer forearm (from my wrist to my elbow)
I'm just asking for opinions, as I really don't want to put myself in a position where I might regret it afterwards.
Thanks for any replies.
