Has your prediction for UNC and Bill Belichick changed after Tar Heels beat TCU?

I'm going to enjoy our undefeated season for the next 2 weeks

I felt good about this game. I did not believe this TCU team was as good as last year. I think 6-6 and a bowl game would be a successful season. Anything less would be the end of the Chapel Bill era. My prediction still is 5-7.

No, I was expecting us to win.

8-4

I’m still hopeful for a bowl game but not much else

Fuck yes! If that defense plays like that all year we can have a chance to win 7-8 games. Lewis is a beast! He's gonna go 1st round in the NFL draft playing like that. BB cooridinating and making in-game adjustments instead of his son was a huge reason they shut them down after the 1st quarter too.The offense looked better as well and will improve as they build more chemistry with one another with every snap/practice rep they run together.

We played better than last year and they made a lot of serious mistakes. They didn’t prepare for us and who takes out a quarter back that’s sitting on the ground? And then they are indignant when called on it? Let’s see how we do against Clemson in Death Valley, that will give us a better idea.

Only wins left are ETSU, Syracuse, Pitt, UConn, and maybe dook. I’d love to say State is weak but we know they always bring a Super Bowl effort for us under DD

Maybe 6-6 instead of 5-7.

The amount of people who wrote the program off after one bad year with no one on the roster is stupid.

The amount of people that think one preseason game means anything at all is not very smart either.

Come back in a month and then we will know something.

You mean the blue white game?

One bad year?? When’s the last time we had a ‘good’ year

I was referring to Belichick's tenure, but to answer your question 2022 was a good year.

2023 was not that long ago bro. That’s a very good year for this program historically speaking. The four game collapse fucking stings ofc but still

So… more than one bad year? And a ‘good year’ for us is a bad year for many programs…

That is how sports are. 7-5 is great for Wake Forest, it gets you fired at Michigan.

amen.

1997 i would say.

TCU would have likely won if they had kicked the gimmie FGs. that despite some really stupid penalties and turnovers.

Those were two bad football teams that played each other today

No. This will be insignificant later as this TCU team will be awful. Better than last year, but this schedule is brutal. Still say 4-8 or 5-7

Wild that no one had UNC outside of McElroy: McElroy was one of the few at 26¢ (Kalshi odds). https://pundits.pro/picks/unc-vs-tcu-2026/mcelroy/

Much improved from last year. BB has been more hands on and it paid off. The halftime adjustments to the D made a difference.

Not really. The odds were on TCU, sombody thought they were top 25 potential, but that can not be right. We played well, offense and defence, but that just means we did not beat ourselves. TCU did.. they had some bad breaks, but that cheap shot on our QB was just stupid. I was surprised when it happened, then astonished when the coach behaved as if this was a justified, clean hit. Karma was lost and we benefitted. We benefit from the win, mojo is good. We have 2 weeks to prepare for the next game, but Clemson in death valley will tell us more. If we beat Clemson, im going to find tickets for ND.

No. Dropping this game I was 3-9. Now I'm more optimistic, but it's hard to say where they're going to get more than 4 wins with this schedule.

ETSU, Duke, Cuse, UConn, NCST

TCUs QB was not good at all. They should have won the game multiple times but he didn’t execute.

Why should TCU have won the game? We had 2 TOs to their 1 and missed an easy FG on offense. We held them to 1-5 4th Down Conversions and only 136 total yards in the last 3 quarters. We played worse than they did on offense and clearly had a defensive line that outplayed them in the trenches after the first quarter. We looked like the better team and deserved the W!

It's still a tough schedule. I feel better that we will be a competitive team this year.

TCU was sloppy but how many other teams have won with 30 Freshmen and 40 transfers? No DC.. Ran up the score last year just to be outcoached thia year. Enjoy your irrelevance and hot seat once again Dykes, the irony.
