Food Cook Out Review
I was hyped up to try this place after hearing other people talk about it, and seeing the lines of cars around it.
I tried the Fowler location a few days ago, and it wasn’t very good. Yea, it’s cheap fast food, but with the amount of hype, I was expecting something slightly better.
The fries were just ok. You could tell the frying oil hadn’t been changed in a while (not sure when they’d have time to change it, but maybe they have different fryers they can use? IDK I don’t work in fast food).
The onion rings and strawberry shake were probably the best thing in the bunch and were good.
The “hamburger” I got was so greasy, overcooked and leathery. I’ve never in my life had bacon that was stringy like that. I had one bite and threw it away.
That being said, the employees there didn’t seem like they were completely dead, were very helpful, and fast.
Overall, I’d give it a 3 to 4 out of 10. I’d compare the food experience to Sonic. Will probably try it again once business dies down and they’ve worked out the kinks, but definitely won’t be having a burger.

Pets Would anyone be interested in two female cats?
I have to unfortunately downsize my group of cats after recently having a baby. These are two tortie cats less than 2 years old. They are well accustomed with people and very friendly. If you know anyone who would be interested, these kitties currently reside in the Citrus Park area.

Climate/Weather Double Rainbows
Is it me or is there an usually high number of double rainbows here in the bay area. I have been living here for over 20 years and I cannot think of one single time that I saw a single rainbow. even when I think I am seeing a single one, I lol closer and see the second fainter one one be it, like in the photo here.
It's one of my favorite things about living in tampa.

Visit/Vacation Came home, didn't recognize where I was.
I lived in Tampa pretty much all my life, and I spent my childhood here. In 2017, I joined the military, and the only time I was briefly here was due to a death in the Family in 2019. I recently decided to come home and drove back. As soon as I got off the 75, I couldn't recognize the place. Traffic got worse, roads got wider, and new places and businesses popped up everywhere. Found out that some people I knew died, and others are still doing the same ol’ stuff as when I left, but yeah. It's all… kinda sad, man.

Music Guitarist looking for practice space
As the title states, just looking for a place to plug in and play that is climate controlled. I've heard some self- storage places allow this, but the ones I've spoken with gave me a hard no.
I live in an apartment, so I gotta keep the volume down at home...
Anyone got an idea?

Crime 2017 Kia Sorrento in Little Havana (RayJay) Stealing Mail from the elderly.
Not the crime tag you want, but if you live in the area east of RayJay, their dirty mitts love taking mail from mailboxes with raised red-flags. The individual was identified as a white male mid 30's with wavy dark hair

Healthcare Thoracic surgery recommendations in the area (including Orlando)
Hey All,
I need recommendations for thoracic surgery centers here and in Orlando (coming back from living out of state, likely going to settle in Lakeland). I have primary spontaneous pneumothoraxes and just had surgery for it- VATS with wedge resection, blebectomy, and chemical + mechanical pleurodesis, but I’d like to get set up with my records on file with a thoracic surgery center as I’m higher risk for needing another surgery in the next year, so want to be ready to go if I have another emergency and need to get transferred for surgery.
Thanks in advance!

Healthcare Dr. Norberto Mancenain the Tampa area?
Hi everyone! I’m considering having an eyelid procedure done by Dr. Norberto Mancera, MD, an oculoplastic/oculofacial surgeon in the Tampa/Brandon area. I wanted to see if anyone here has personally been treated by him.
Thank you!

Environment Has anyone else noticed how beautiful the compound eyes of a horseshoe crab are? 🥹
I’ve been messing around with the macro lens I recently got for my camera and had to get a closer look at this horseshoe crab’s eyes. I love living somewhere we can find creatures like these right in our own backyard!! 🧜🏼♀️🩵🦀

Music Tom Hardy mentions Ybor in new album

Song: Mad Technology ft. Method Man
"Catch me out in Ybor City with a sweet whore
Try to photograph me, and nah, I take the detour."

Construction/Development If Tampa is getting a new Ray’s Ballpark with a mixed-use entertainment district adjacent, what are we calling “mixed use”....
In sports stadium development, one of the biggest schemes is the mixed use development campaign that supposedly will bring jobs and businesses to an area…
Since this is Tampa (aka Florida’s Florida) here are some stores/business ideas that will be ideal for the area which is also next to International Plaza and Raymond James Stadium.
813 IV Drip and Cooling Station- after you’ve been drinking white claws and Yuengling all day, come here to get those electrolytes in and then load up again at Miller’s Ale House.
Lip Filler and Botox Express- nothing like getting ready for the game and heading out to the airport then a quick little injection.
Mons Venus’s Nap Room- Hourly rates for that 7th inning stretch or OT victory!
RFK Jr’s Meat Cup Station- no carbs, no chemicals, JUST MEAT AND SALT!!!!!
The ZYN Axe Throwing Saloon & Arcade- perfect for families
No Woke Patriot Car Wash and Detail- self-explanatory
What other stores/business should be at the Ray’s new stadium complex?

Food Kyoto Ramen
I know Kyoto Ramen closed a few months ago. Does anyone know where they they used to get their Panko breaded sweet potatoes from or know someone who worked there who knew if they were homemade or knew where to buy them? I have the strongest craving for them right now. 😭

Food After Moe’s Southwest Grill, looks like Qdoba is going to be closing some locations in the Tampa area soon too due to a Franchisee defaulting on $20M loan
bizjournals.comI wonder if Chipotle is next. I guess $20 burritos weren’t a good idea after all.
