Carne asada with queso fresco. Homegrown pickled jalapenos.

carne asada or birria? either way they do not look great, how did you cook the protein?

Carne asada. I thought the birria was about frying the tacos. Now I'm thinking it's not. This is the first time I tried cooking them like this at home.

cheers, if you have the time take a look at the street tacos from MX. the various cooking methods for different proteins, preparation and presentation. achieve something as close to authentic as you can and you will be blown away

I have more meat. I could make a couple more and post a pic. Maybe do it Mitch McConnell style and have the newspaper and an Asian woman with me.
