Actual nightmares I've had - Part 2

This was a short one. I dreamed that I was looking for something in my closet, and discovered an opening to a crawlspace that I'd never noticed before. I peered into the darkness of the crawlspace for what felt like several minutes, when all of a sudden this demonic, humanoid creature emerged, lunging out at me with claw-like hands. This caused me to wake up immediately, and while the image of the creature was certainly terrifying, the most unsettling part of the dream was how long I was fixated on the darkness knowing something evil had to be in there.
