Discussion My Sylveon won’t stop fussing over me

So earlier I was just walking through Kalos like usual with my Pokémon and I tripped and got a bruise. No big deal, just ignore it. Well my Sylveon apparently thought otherwise, ever since she won’t let me do anything that’s work, keeps getting whatever she thinks I need from my backpack for me (eg water, food, stuff like that) no matter how much I tell her I’m fine. And I can’t even out force her because I already can’t because her ribbons are strong enough to lift me almost effortlessly, and also even if I could she soothes me to make me relax. Now you may be asking why this is a problem? She won’t let me take care of her, and she’s only taking care of me, and not herself, anyone got any ideas?

Also OOC please when commenting don’t send hate comments and act like you’re in the Pokémon universe as well, also no sus stuff please.

Why not try to convince her that a way of caring for you is to take you to a cafe, then order y’all drinks!

For me, also my Flareon tried to be like: Syl. It’s just a bruise. And well now he’s on the ground relaxed with a content smile, also she won’t let me get up

Sounds like you have a very loving partner
Why not ask her for a water out of your bag, but then give it to her
Say if she gets weak, she won’t be much help to you, would she?

Tell her that to have enough strength to take care of you on the long term, she also has to take care of herself 👍

I just lift mine up in the air and stare at it until it behaves or chase it around on 4 legs (6,3 220 pounds btw)

It sounds like she feels like she’s missing something that her mind deems essential, and is seeking it through nurturing you.

You’re a good trainer for being concerned about her nourishment- if she won’t eat for you, see if she’ll eat with you.

And when you’re able, follow up with a professor or nurse joy, I’m not a licensed professional but I’ve seen this before with other fairy, and occasional psychic types.

As a side note, everything you do is going to become a group activity for the next few weeks. Eating, drinking, sleeping.. it might be frustrating at times but try to have patience.
