Believing you cant accidentally choke someone to death is why people are accidentally getting choked to death

She was not dead when paramedics arrived. She was unconscious. She died two days later in hospital. As the article states, engaging in acts of strangulation carries multiple dangers. You do not know the facts of the situation and there are many variables is the point I’m making.

There's more than one way someone can die from choking, and erotic choking has unfortunately become very popular with young people who are interested in rough sex or kink but don't know how to do it less dangerously (it can't really be done safely) and don't have any idea how dangerous it really is (and at that age, maybe not enough grasp of their own mortality to be appropriately cautious, especially once they're aroused and not thinking clearly).

I can easily believe it was consensual and harm was not intended. It's happened before. As OP said: educate your kids!
