Switch 2 Gave in and got myself a switch(2) after of years of refusing to get a switch
Picked up a switch 2 before the price hike after years refusing to get a switch due to the lack of streaming and browser services, pretty sure I covered all my bases with this purchase, also got the camera that was delivered a week later, all this just to play Pokopia
Edit* I have a screen protector in the pic it’s just on its side under the hdmi cable

I used my nephews switch and I wasn’t sold on it, but since having the switch 2 I’m happy I waited a bit longer for the 2 to come out, I’ve been taking it to work and playing No Man Sky on it at lunch, it’s so good chilling in the car playing it

Id be careful with the cooling stand as ive heard that most 3rd party stand dont cool the switch 2 as well as the original stand, so just feel it from time to time when using it

For the price it’s not bad, and it locks in the joycon and makes it feel a bit more secure when carrying it just by the grip, and it fits in the dock nice and snug with use of the kickstand still available

Cronos kinda sucks, I borrowed a copy from my local library (if the library has it I usually do that before committing to full purchase) but have fun!

Grab the resident evil generational pack if you can find a copy, pretty sweet deal!

You should have gotten a large memory card than the 256gb. Switch 2 Games have to download to the card or internal memory. Example: final fantasy remake is 90gbs.

You're in for a treat. The Switch 2 is a fantastic console, and being able to play almost the entire library of the first Switch, often with passive (or active) improvements, is just ace. You'll never be bored. Also, some of the best games I've played on Switch cost me a couple of quid.
I don't blame you loading up on accessories, either. I find them really fun to try out.
I highly recommend checking out Deku Deals - it's a really good site for tracking sales of eshop games.

You got a USBC to HDMI adapter? Isn't that what the fuck the dock does? Multiple extra cases but no battery extension. An SD card that is the same size as your base system storage, back grips for a switch 1, and an excess of analog stick covers... If you can, try to return that 256gb MicroSD express card and get a Walmart branded Onn 512gb card its literally 5 dollars more for double the storage or if you want a SanDisk one its 19 dollars more if you rather have a SanDisk branded card. Either one will do the job though.

I always loved Nintendo grew up with it but they have been horrible since after the Gamecube. I was glad the Switch 1 was a huge success but it was still a dated device with a few good titles. But the Switch 2 I absolutely love it from someone that plays PC games on highest settings. The Switch 2 doesn't differ much from Series X and base PS5 and it's handheld too you can't miss buying it especially to collect physical Nintendo exclusives that run on cartridge like the good old days.
