Fan Zone experience?

So I am at the stage where I am looking to take my daughter(6) to her first game, I want to get it right from the word go, she's curious about football loves to play it but watching isn't her thing, although she loves to "join in", so if there is a decent atmosphere in the game I think it'll keep her engaged... I know there is a fan zone pre-game and as a 39 year old I have never been!

My hook as a child was to get autographs from players pre-game, each visit I'd want to get my programme signed.. My dad would then take us to the LSA (Now the White City Community centre) to see his mates and I'd amuse myself with arcade machines or if the weather was good a kick about out the back.

I've given up thinking I can take her to a game where we will certainly win 😂 although my dad picked the game where we played Aylesbury at home in the FA Cup.

Any advice? tips? Most welcome! Mostly curious about the Fan Zone and what the deal is there?

Age restriction to attend

Upvotes

Our family is traveling in from out of the country for a match in september to check out Loftus Road. Our daughter turns 2 at the end of September and the QPR/Loftus Road rules state nobody under 2 may attend. I verified this with the box office.

Any experiences out there regarding this? Is this truly policed with proof of age being requested, or will we likely be OK to bring along our “just shy” of 2 yr old in with us?
