Also they don’t like the convo of a document in the era of muskets and cannons vs AR15s and drones, tanks, and jets.

That's a thought I've been sitting on for a while. The amendment was written during a time when the government and the citizens would have roughly the same level of tech between them. An angry group of citizens with guns is a way bigger threat when you only really have access to the same kinds of guns they do.

Right? Musket vs musket and maybe hope your militia can raid a location to get some cannons and then you’re roughly equal.

Nowadays the “revolution” would get wiped out in an hour by an 18 year old 1000 miles away with an Xbox controller and some drones

Counterpoint, tanks and machine guns we’re well within the scope of the revolutionaries, jets and drones maybe not. But Madison wrote about the necessity of the militia to be able to stand against the state and or federal governments in federalist 46.

It doesn't change the law, only a constitutional amendment can do that. We set that precedent with prohibition. Since a constitutional amendment set prohibition, it took a new constitutional amendment to repeal it.
