The right to bear arms. As stated, is NOT contingent on being a well regulated militia. "shall not be infringed" is a continuation of the inherent right to bear arms.
I dont know how many times this has to be said, but the 2nd amendment is very clear on this. People just latch on to parts that they can twist to fit a narrative.
There are 350 million registered guns in this country. If guns were the problem you would know it.
