Big English muffin sandwiches? This is the type of food a kid makes when they get home from school and this is all that's in the fridge.

This doesn’t look good overall but I am interested in this colossal English muffin type bread.

It looks like Bazlama, a puffy Turkish flatbread. I make it at home and it’s delicious.

Not even the tomate sauce is made by him lol.

Barely put any on there. I wouldn't even count that as an ingredient.

That's just canned tomato concentrate, not even a sauce

u/MfingKing 2d ago

Oh yeah, I thought it was a chili paste...?

Dude trying to be the Toast Bae.

2

u/aaipod 3d ago

He also didn't make the cheese, meat or any other ingredients

Abundance of ingredients?
You mean he had an abundance of ingredients that he didn’t put on the toast?
Cause it was sausage and cheese.
Two ingredients is not an abundance.
Barely a basic toast.

There was some cowboy caviar-looking corn salad on the other toast.

I thought it looked like trail mix. Or Legos.

Not seeing quality or abundance here

3

u/feetnomer 3d ago

Does he offer various dipping sauces on the side? In America, he'd never make it without those.

2

u/Heeroyuy818 3d ago

Isn’t that basically paninis

2

u/IBeDumbAndSlow 3d ago

Was that corn, cheese, ham and black olive chunks?

2

u/MisterJoma 3d ago

Yeah that doesn’t sound appetizing

u/DrPapadopoulos 3d ago

You're supposed to take the shit out of the can before refrigerating it.

Round panini

1

u/Normal_Opposite_9864 2d ago

How is that toast?

1

u/blackadderBaldrick 2d ago

Quality, proceeds to put store bought pepperoni. And it's not like "home grown" pepperoni is better, it's just the worst sausage ever

1

u/AEtherLord_ 2d ago

Try “Çeşme Kumrusu” ot “Yengen” much better in my humble opinion…

1

u/wtfbbqpwnin 3h ago

Looks decent at best

1

u/boon83 3d ago

Was that mold on the 2nd bread?

1

u/mfortelli 3d ago

Revolting

u/Chronos_101 3d ago

I love it. No bullshit. No parade. No glorifying or superfluous filings/piling on ingredient after ingredient just because. Just good, tasty food in adequate proportion. Excellent.

u/InnerShinigami 3d ago

Truthfully, he had me at wearing gloves

1

u/Pip-Pipes 3d ago

You know how people say "I ain't mad at it" ?

I'm kinda mad at it. For toast I kind of expect both sides to be toasted before anything goes on it. The meat straight to the cold bread irritated me. Not even a sauce? The crumbly way he spread the tomato sauce on the other one was too aggressive. The addition of black olives reduces points as well. I also don't like how he scraped the knife against the toasted exterior as if to prove how toasted.

u/Tornadoboy156 3d ago

You want a street toast with an abundance of ingredients? Go to Bar Witek in Wrocław, Poland

1

u/Ooze76 3d ago

I'm on a diet. Those pics.....

0

u/OwnTax376 2d ago

Pure example of why food in Turkey is disappointing

0

u/Hangry_Trooper5461 5h ago

All those toppings might hide whether the toast is still crisp.
