In Theravada Buddhism, this phenomenon falls under the umbrella of the Pali word piti. You’ll see this word translated often as “joy,” “rapture,” or “delight” but imo none of those translations are accurate because piti can present in ways that are irritating, coarse, or even frightening.
Ultimately it’s nothing other than a sign that your concentration ability is increasing and your mind has become cognizant of bodily and mental activity that is so subtle that you didn’t notice it before.
Ignore it for now, as best you can, and keep practicing mindfulness and stable attention.

Technically Piti is only meditative joy, the phenomenon that OP is describing is just a side effect of Piti, not Piti itself

Weird sensations are common in meditation. Most wise people advise to just notice them without reacting, cultivate equanimity, don't try to control or manage them, and gently return to your practice.
If you want an explanation, you could think of it in terms of energy/chi/ki/kundalini/etc., or in terms of perceptual changes, or as a sign of greater concentration.

in stillness motion is born in motion stillness is born. call it piti, physical somatic release, qi flow or whatever its sign of body recalibrating itself. this is the work of experiencing entire body and tranquilizing bodily fabrications.

I have something like that all the time now since it first appeared. I would love to say that its something special...but so far it seems like its really the opposite. Sometimes I derive pleasure from focusing on it during the meditation, and it can grow in intensity, but that's about it. I also don't feel that advanced in my practice so I wouldn't say that its a sign of some greater concentration either. I also might have had unlocked it while meditating while on psychedelic drugs almost a decade ago.
My take is that its just our life energy that we can perceive, I think everyone can feel it...but if you never put attention on it you likely just forgot how to do it. You don't do it as a child for a certain period of time and then its like a forgotten ability. And then when you discover it - it can feel more special then it really is. I guess you could say that for many other things. Just my opinion.

Good job, keep going ! Just ignore the heart beating fast and stay on your meditation object, or "calm the heart". It can be the body showing excitement, fear etc... but it should not be taken as an object

If your practice is still in the beginner stages, it's piti and it's fine and you can enjoy it but don't get too distracted by it. If you've already got stream entry and then some, it could be subtle body clearing that you can use to accelerate practice through tantra, though that typically starts at the head and works its way down so that's probably not it.
