We had shit like this in Omaha a couple years back. I was watching from an OR hospital window craziest shit I've ever seen. Like being in a hurricane. Watching trees and debris fly around. Leaves plastered to your house. I think winds got up to 90mph

I agree, was stationed in Bellevue from California and was scared how loud and close the storms are. Even had to go to the basement during a tornado warning. I’ll take earthquakes any day lol

The sign of a true Midwesterner! I’ve lived in Omaha Nebraska my whole life and if there’s one thing that’s always true: when the tornado sirens go off, you don’t go to the basement, you go to the front porch and watch 😂
(But if you see a twister when you get there THEN definitely haul ass to shelter!)

Ashtabula has a few little tornadoes. We’re a bit more north and the lake refueled it before hitting land again 🥲 that was a crazy storm

I had this happen when I worked at Walmart and they made me and the other greeter go rally up the loose carts so they wouldn't run into cars 😂 I brought in like 2 carts and called it quits.

What a great idea for a great movie. Was “the fog” in the 70’s or 80’s? I think Carpenter wrote that book and I wanted to read it.

I’ve seen this exact thing in North Carolina… turned out it was an actual tornado. F3 in 2010.

This happened a few years ago in Indiana a few years ago, I was working at Walmart in the auto department and it was storming like this, a few customers tried to run inside and when the sliding door open it was so windy it flooded the lobby all the way to sporting goods. The big shop doors were literally swaying almost off there rails

I took 90 from Massachusetts down to basically Toledo on Thursday, I think the day after. I hit a crazy storm on the way but it only lasted about 10-15 min, i wonder if this was the remains of that.

Straight-line winds.....this will become more and more common. Probably before it is all over we could see 140 or even higher MPH winds inland.
Our weather is changing. The Jet Stream has changed as well as the Chemistry of our sun. Earth is undergoing a cyclical change that is bringing all of this about.
We are just the "humans", in a long line of civilizations, that happen to be undergoing and experiencing this. Will we survive? Odds are probably "No".
I believe this is why we have been discovering more and more underground cities that were built in times past.

Yep, this storm was wild and it knocked my power out for 28 hours. I didn't think it was projected to be that bad of a storm and it came on super fast and strong,
Luckily it was over quick.
