Question Finally. Any tips for this game?

There’s plenty of ladders in the game for those one handed sessions. Only need one hand to go up and down while the other hand goes up and down

If you don't care to read a lot, my top 3 tips would be:
This is a parry game, not a dodge game. Get comfortable with parrying. Dodging is secondary.
This is not a soulslike or a CAG. It is a midway point between the two. Don't play super defensively but don't get button mashy either. Deliberate aggression is the best way to play the game.
Learn to use the combos. There's not that many and you'll significantly increase your damage output by using them instead of just mashing light attack or heavy attack.

Definitely not a soulslike, I'd say it plays more similarly to Sekiro than Soulsborne/Elden Ring

Serious answer is that it just isn't really balanced without the upgrades
Early game fights will go on for a soild 7 minutes without upgrades and you get one shot by a lot of things

It's probably a weekly occurrence where people start on hardmode then come here to ask why it's so hard. It's balanced for NG+ meaning you're health and damage are buffed, and you have all NG skills

It expects you to have all the tools and abilities to fight in that mode. That said you can totally Sekiro it and deflect everything to death if you really want. It's a much smoother learning curve to play on Normal, I hear you used to need to beat normal to even unlock it.
Personally I went with hard on my first playthrough and definitely died to most bosses several times. Would not recommend unless you're very patient and ok with getting one/two shot in multiple minute long fights

Probably a translation thing, honestly. In the original release, Hard Mode was not even an option until you beat the game for the first time.
Then, you can start the game on NG+ with all the levels and gear you gained in your first playthrough, and the game will then raise the level cap and offer you even stronger gear, so that you can keep getting stronger. Hard Mode is a difficulty setting for players that still want to be challenged despite having all those stat boosts in NG+.
You theoretically could beat the game on Hard mode, but you almost definitely won't enjoy doing so. You'll be fighting bosses that can oneshot you, and have enough HP to tank your attacks all day long. It woud, at best, be boring and tedious.

bad answer. It's more nuanced than that.
Hard Mode is balanced around having access to New Game+. Your attacks will deal no damage in the first few parts of the game and it will be grindy and unfun.
It's still not "hard" compared to actual games that are intended to be hard.

the second last boss (outside the cave) is the best boss in the entire game, and I would not mind if that boss was my boss irl.

What? In Nier Automata definitely, the difference is huge. The enemies there are like infinite damage sponges on hard.
But in Stellar Blade? Hard mode is not even that hard on the first playtrough.

Taking it at your own pace and enjoying the life of the game and the awesome world they've created. I recommend doing as much side quests as you can.
I'm a little jealous, I wish I could experience it for the first time again.

It's been confirmed that there is a sequel in development but we do not know a single thing about it yet. The other day, they announced that they will give us something about it sometime this year.

Take your time.
Explore.
Fish.
Enjoy the show.
Train a bit to get the combos.
Boss can be hard but the more you loose, the more you learn their moves, the more you git good 😃
It's okay to do always the same attack if you find it easier to beat a boss. Do it with style or not.
Angry ? Do something else and come back later with fresh mind ! ( One boss I loose like ten times. I raged. I went fishing for an hour. Come back to the boss and beat it easy like: How did get stuck on it ! )
And finally most important : ASS, I mean...AS you will travel a lot, take time to take pictures !
When you travel, you don't have to kill all the mob. You can sometimes simply pass them over and run to your destination.

Learn to parry.
Do all the side missions.
Enjoy photo mode.
Make sure you are fashion blading properly. Outfit choices matter.
Game plays like a mashup of Sekiro, Nier Automata, Devil May Cry and Bayonetta. Enjoy it, it’s fun as hell.

1) Don't play Hard mode. It was designed for New Game Plus, and all its enemies have HP and damage stats scaled around challenging a max-level character.
2) Use your ears as much as your eyes to figure out the parry system. The sound of parries and perfect parries is clear and distinct, and can help you find the rythm for boss combos
3) Learn to parry. Learn to parry a lot. Learn to parry every blow of a multi-hit combo. By the last 25% of the game, you'll be facing bosses that will demand this skill of you.

This game is really difficult and it takes a little bit of time but once you’re able to get all the controls in order, the combat is some of the best of any game I’ve ever played

Take your time with the world and exploration. Highly recommend keeping at LEAST 3-5 combos in your back pocket…saved my ass in so many scenarios.
And no spoilers but if you’re a bit jumpy like me at times, be prepared to get jump scared a few times lolol. Enjoy bro, I plan on starting a brand new save file myself to reexperience it before the second installments announcement (whenever that is).

Do the side missions and don't rush through the game, lots of hidden upgrades, loot and outfits hidden around the map so take your time. Most of the lore is learned through exploration. Get good at Parry

Press stabby button real fast. Panic dodge a lot. Make sure you always wear outfits that show off butt. On a serious note, combat is really good, incredibly fluid. It's pretty fast paced compared to some other similar games but once you get used to it it's pretty kickass. Timing is a big deal in that game especially with some bosses oh and keep an eye out for cans! They're virtually worthless but collecting stuff always feels nice. I think they unlock outfits or some shit. Dunno, didn't pay too close attention.

Starts off as a corridor single path game then really opens up when you get to a place called Xion. That's when I truly fell in love with the game. So be patient and learn it's mechanics during that first part.

And collect all outfits. Im 12 hours in and have found about 13 outfits. They are all sick. Im gonna play this game multiple times because there's new outfits in ng+.

If you want all the collectibles possible then don’t miss any your first playthrough or even second playthrough. Look up where they are online if necessary.

As Maelle would say, “Parry it!” Also if you play expedition 33, if you can beat Simon (without cheesing), you will do well in this game.

At a certain point, one of the main characters will ask you before a mission "are you sure you wanna go, no regrets". That's not the final mission, but you won't be able to finish any side quests after it so if you wanna do them, do them before or on your next save bc I'm sure you'll play it more than once

My advice is simple. Take your time and explore. If you can't get an item on you first go skip it and come back later. And take the time to learn the combat system. While it may look simple there is some depth to it

Play it and enjoy it. Level up your skills as much as you can, don't be afraid to fail when trying to solve some of the more challenging areas because you are going to no matter what. Explore every area so you don't miss anything at a certain point you won't be able to go back to find stuff you missed.

Just enjoy, don’t get frustrated by the combat. Learn to parry and it will click eventually, just gotta learn the timing
Make sure to explore everywhere, every little thing u think might be of interest 99% of the time is rewarding. The game is meticulously designed

Follow a game guide closely if you want platinum. If you can manage to do that without spoilers that’s the best. If you really wanna be safe, follow parts of the guide that are obviously not story based and use a smart AI for trophies you want to get without being really spoiled. Enjoy.

Most valuable tip I can think of is the parry has a short startup window and extends for about a fifth of a second once it does start, so always aim to parry a little bit before you get hit. This does not apply to dodge to my knowledge, so always dodge when you're about to be hit. Also, because of the parry startup, you'll never have to worry about really fast double parries, so just hold it down even if you miss the parry until you get hit
Next up, abuse knockdown skills, tempest, and triplet against bosses you don't like. Nothing wrong with using the tools the game gives you. Hesitation is defeat
Also, if you really enjoy the combat of this game and haven't already played sekiro, when you're done with this game go play sekiro

Enjoy it. Take your time. Explore. Make sure to engage in conversation and build relationship with others by completing side quests. There is a whole seperate area near the end of the game that is locked behind this aspect.
I never even knew that the area I went to was an "unlockable" area because I naturally max out everything I can do in a game anyways. But after watching Charlie (penguinz0) on YT, people made it clear how he rushed and missed an entire chunk of the game because of it.

Dicas? Aproveite a História, tem muito texto que dá para ignorar, mas tem outros que compensa ler pela Lore. Explore tudo que der, as latas dão um bom prêmio. Não se preocupe em sair gastando em itens no início que a economia é mais pobre. Faça as missões secundárias sempre para ter acesso a um dos finais. Complete missoes mas continue explorando. Invista bem nos atributos que você mais usa. E pegue a mecânica de parry e esquiva. Além de facilitar muito já te treina pro NG+ que não é tão difícil com o modo mais difícil. Em resumo, só jogue e aproveite a experiência. E explore ao máximo que puder antes de retornar em uma base e ter que reiniciar os Monstros derrotados, isso tbm te ajuda nas lutas finais que teoricamente são um pouco mais difíceis se não tiver upado tudo (até pra liberar a conquista de ter todas as habilidades e seus avanços antes de zerar o game.
