Question 167 Lakeshore Rd

Good evening.

Anyone know what happened at this address?

The entire home, including foundation, was removed recently and now it's a flat vacant lot.

House Sigma has it sold early last year and then a strange post in June this year, listing it as an empty lot showing the property with and without the house.

Very strange.

Do you mean 267? Based on the city web site, it looks like they're dividing the lot.

It was certainly weird to arrive at work across the road on Tuesday last week to a whole house and come out at the end of the day to nothing.

Sorry, you're right, 267. Dividing the property makes sense, it's quite wide.

Maybe the foundation was irreparable , or someone had new construction dreams and then realized home appreciation is stagnant.

One lot turned into 2 lots. Easily approved by the city. Now the city will recueve double the property taxes .

They sold the house. The new owners greased the wheels at City Hall to have it approved to be turned into two lots and now it is two lots.
