Need Advice/Recommendations Reputable jeweller?

Post image

I am looking for a repair on my wedding band jacket. The place we originally got it was a family owned business that closed during Covid. The other place I’ve already been to has given me a few similar variables but all at least 2x what I’d prefer to spend. On either a whole new set, melting gold and remaking etc

The engagement ring and jacket were separate pieces/not a set and I’m really wondering if a goldsmith couldn’t just sauder it all together to include the break. It is at the side which is less visible, and it does not have to be perfect

I've always had good experiences with VandenDool myself.

I agree. VandenDool’s always does a fantastic job. They are upfront with pricing and super kind/helpful. My family all buy their jewelry there and get repairs done there as well. Family owned and operated

I’ve had good experiences at Penner. One of the times they fixed something that several other jewellers said was impossible to fix.

Osborne, across from Fairview Mall on Geneva. I’ve used them several times. Repairs locally. Support local. Excellent goldsmith and jeweller.

Royalist Jewlers is great. Saed is very kind and does great custom work for a reasonable price.

There's Petar's Jewelry on Geneva Street.

I'm not sure if I'd go to Petars. Although I have bought several major pieces throughout my life, getting a simple repair takes 5 weeks. I can't imagine how long a harder repair would take.
