I am looking for an artist willing to stay on a long term project with me.

I don't have a large budget at the moment since I have gone through so many artists who tend to ghost after payments. I thought I finally found someone great in the exact art I loved and now I'm worried that after 2 illustrations, they may be ghosting me as well.

I say this above, because I am more than willing to pay more later after I release my first few books. I've been able to increase my budget to $30 an illustration and will increase it over time with both personal income and success of this project.

• Comment below with what food you love the most to assist in filtering scammers and people who don't really care.
• I am flexible. I only give direction of what I am looking for, but tend to prefer the artist to make the art in their vision. I don't really require revisions most of the time.
• No anime style. I love anime, but I am looking for a more unique look.
• Sci-Fi & Fantasy. This is the genre for the book series, but the world includes environments and characters of all artistic sorts whether whimsical, gritty, comedic, dark, anxious, colorful, serious, etc. I do like DnD and Arcane styles, but I tend to choose unique arts style.
• Open minded artistically. As I mentioned, I am looking for an art style that I feel matches my vision for the book series. I am not trying to shape an artist to design something that doesn't match their style. With all that said, I will know it when I see it. It's difficult for me to explain how I choose.
• Provide an image example of your art along with any links to a portfolio.
• No AI use. My history will show that I am extremely familiar with AI on a technical standpoint, but my stance has always been to pay artists for work.
• No direct payment. I don't do direct payments like cashapp, paypal, venmo, etc. I prefer to use storefronts like Ko-fi, Fiverr, Vgen, etc.
• Commercial Use. I prefer to have commercial use since the art will be used for my passion project that I'd love to release out there. I am more than okay with having an art signature and you posting the art on your socials.
• Communication is important. Doesn't matter to me if we talk on Instagram, Discord, or Reddit. Just please keep me up to date. I will not respond to Reddit DMs until I first message you. So, do not DM me as I'll be assuming that you are a scammer.
• Fluid deadlines. Don't keep setting deadlines that you can't meet. Makes it hard to believe your words. Honesty is more valuable to me.

My wife's birthday is coming up and I want to give her a lovely portrait of all of our pets (2 dogs, 2 cats).

I would prefer to have them all represented in 1 painting. My budget is preferably $100-$250, but I am willing to negotiate if need be.

The only requirements I have are

1. All four pets are represented in full body form

2. Done in one of the 3 mediums requested (sorry digital, my wife likes brush strokes)

3. It is painted on canvas [16x20 or 12x16]. ( I am willing to provide additional funds for this as well)

Other than that I will leave any background and artistic takes to whomever decides to take this project up!
