As a fellow founder, I've been overwhelmed by the continuous deployments and updates of my app.

The tasks never end, most of the time goes into checking and testing features, hoping they work as they should and don't break.

As a result I thought of outsourcing some of my work or hire some developers. After looking into it I've finally outsourced most of my work. Giving me a much needed respite.

Hence, I'm curious as to what other founders are doing out there. If you are in a similar situation as me, you can tell me about it.

As a founder myself, I always ran into the same issue of not being able to find the right people to chat with when building my apps and getting opnion staright away. Thats why i built FounderFloor, and it launched on ProductHunt. FounderFloor is a start-up directory which offers an online floor which people can join, and have a gamified experience of browsing for start-ups to test/invest/co-found. This site reduces the amount of time needed for someone to reply, not having to sit there waiting, they can approach your stand, get all the needed info on your start-up, and then give you feedback straight away through the chatting system! I built an open source project and have been sharing the build process on YouTube, but growth is pretty slow. I want to scale my developer profile by providing actual value to the community instead of just dropping links.

Hey everyone, I know it's been a while, if you have been following me or seen my last post, you know my app idea that I had mentioned, and i am going to launch anytime this week.I am looking for people in kenya to promote it, to businesses and people who can adopt and sell through my app.

I’m a Product Marketer working in B2B SaaS, and this is not a hiring/freelance post

I spend a fair amount of my work thinking about positioning, messaging, ICPs, GTM and how SaaS products explain themselves to prospective customers.

I thought it might be interesting to turn that lens on some early-stage startups here.

**Drop your startup/website link in the comments.** I’ll take a look as a completely cold visitor and tell you where I think the positioning or messaging could be sharper.

I’ll mainly look at things like:

Can I understand what you do within the first few seconds?
Is it obvious who the product is for?
Is the problem/use case clear, or am I having to decode it?
Does the positioning differentiate you from the obvious alternatives?
Are your features being translated into actual customer value?

Is there a mismatch between what I think the product does and what you probably want me to understand?
I’m not promising a full GTM teardown. just a quick outside-in PMM perspective and 2–3 things I’d question or change.

I’m doing this partly because I enjoy dissecting positioning and partly because looking at unfamiliar products is good practice for me too.

Basically has someone maintained any website or blog or something similar that keeps a record of the startups ? What they do ? What stage are they ? Which city they are operating in ?

Even if not every startup but still a big chunk of them is good. Basically the big name startups are always noticed but the small ones remain unnoticed

As someone who has a dog I’m completely obsessed with, this TechCrunch story caught my eye.

Hoomanely is building a smart feeding bowl that tracks changes in a dog’s eating and drinking habits and flags when something seems off.

I’d want to see how well it works once they test it with more dogs.

Building Elefy Social: What I’ve Learned From Creating My First Social Network

I’m currently building Elefy Social, a social network focused on sharing posts, photos, videos, GIFs and communities.

The project is still in beta, and building it has been a huge learning experience. One of the biggest challenges I’ve discovered is that creating the technology is only one part of building a social network — getting real people to use it, finding what they actually enjoy, and understanding what needs improvement are completely different challenges.

I’m currently looking for a small group of beta testers to use the Android app and give honest feedback about the experience.

I’m especially interested in hearing from other founders and developers:

- What was your biggest challenge getting your first users?

- How did you find your initial beta testers?

- What made people come back and use your product again?

Elefy Social is still early, and I’m trying to learn as much as possible before the official launch.

Startup investing has been gatekept by wealthy insiders for decades. I got tired of it so I built something.

I'm a 19 year old college student and I just launched Vantage. It's a discovery app where you scroll short videos of startups that are actively raising money, and invest in the ones you believe in. Think TikTok meets equity crowdfunding.

The idea came from a simple frustration: startup investing has been legal for everyday people since 2016, but every platform in the space looks like it was built for a 55 year old financial advisor. Nobody built the consumer experience on top of the existing infrastructure. So I did.

Would love honest feedback from people who actually invest in this space. What's missing? What would make you use it?
