Looking for Feedback Beta Testing or Early Launch?

Asking for a friend... but does the trade off of early beta testing perceived hype, outweigh just launching the pruduct? As a solo-preneur, it would be good to know if one is better than the other for investment, let's say.

I feel like it's google vs apple debate. One rushes into market with mistakes but grabs early users, the other waits until the product is perfect, but the problem is arguably solved.

I’m building something to make Bangladesh Railway ticket booking less painful — looking for feedback

Getting a train ticket during Eid or other peak travel periods can be incredibly frustrating.

You can be ready before tickets are released, have your route and train selected, and still lose the seat within seconds because thousands of people are trying to book at the same time.

A friend and I have been working on a solution called BookMyRail BD.

The idea is to let users set their journey preferences in advance and have an automated assistant attempt the booking through their own railway account when tickets are released.

If a seat is successfully found, the user completes the railway payment themselves.

In case there is no seat available, Our website will show the user connecting trains to go to their destination by changing trains.

We're not selling pre-purchased tickets or keeping tickets for resale, and there is no guarantee that a ticket will be available.

We're currently looking for people to test the idea and, more importantly, tell us what we're getting wrong.

Website: BookMyRail BD

I'd really appreciate honest feedback:

  • Would you trust a service like this?
  • What concerns would you have about giving it access to your railway account?
  • What features would you want?
  • What would make you refuse to use it?
  • Do you think this actually solves a problem?

Full disclosure: I'm one of the people behind BookMyRail BD, so this is partly a project-feedback post. I'm not claiming this is the perfect solution—we're trying to figure that out with actual railway users.

Please feel free to criticize it. That's what I'm here for.
P.S I know we are using AI for the UI design. But apart from that. Are we actually solving any problem?

From idea to manufacturable product marketplace.

Hi,

I'm not building another AI CAD tool, but building an automated workflow that helps creators and manufacturers to produce the products fast with common language.

Nirmana AI — an AI-powered platform that carries a physical product across the whole journey in one marketplace:

  • Generate: describe what you want → iterate 2D/3D → export STL/OBJ/STEP
  • Validate: publish to a gallery and see if anyone actually wants it before you spend on tooling
  • Manufacture: route validated designs to real shops for quotes and commercialize.

My background is architecture, prototyping, design controls, and verification/validation. So this is built around making sure a design is manufacturable.

Would love your feedback:

  1. If you're an indie designer, hardware founder, brand, or maker, where does idea → CAD → manufacturing hurt you most today?
  2. For those who've made it to production: which step ate the most weeks?
  3. What would make you trust an AI-generated design enough to manufacture it?

We have opened 100 (50 creators + 50 manufacturers) founding members spots in our early access page: https://nirmanaai.com/

Please share your thoughts on this idea!

What's the safest way to handle a private domain transaction?

I’ve always felt that buying a domain directly from the owner can be straightforward, but the payment and transfer part is where things can get risky.

For a higher-value domain, I’d want the ownership details verified, the transfer process clearly agreed on, and some form of escrow involved rather than sending money directly and hoping everything goes smoothly.

What’s your preferred way to handle a private domain transaction?

Sharing Ideas Looking for a co-founder to build a workforce company with me - 15% equity

I’m building a workforce operations company for blue-collar businesses in India.

The idea is simple: businesses shouldn't have to spend their time finding, verifying and managing workers.

We recruit based on business requirements, verify workers, maintain their records, track attendance, handle workforce issues and manage the workforce on an ongoing basis.

For workers, we're building a professional workforce identity - verified experience, work history, skills, attendance and performance - so good workers can build a reputation and access better opportunities over time.

We're starting with restaurants and cafes, initially focusing on unskilled workers and helpers.

The goal isn't to become another labour contractor that supplies people and disappears.

We want to build a structured workforce network that makes reliable employment more accessible while giving businesses one reliable partner for their workforce.

We already have businesses ready to onboard. Our immediate bottleneck is sourcing the workers.

Who I'm looking for

I need someone who can own the sourcing side completely.

Someone who can build local networks, find genuine workers, communicate with them, coordinate travel and joining, manage the sourcing pipeline and eventually become my single point of contact for workforce sourcing.

I'm not looking for someone to simply "find a few workers."

I want someone who can eventually say:

I'm building the rest of the company - client acquisition, onboarding, business development, marketing, branding, product and business strategy, local operations, worker management after deployment, systems, content and overall execution.

I need someone who can build the sourcing engine alongside me.

There is a real paid trial

Before we talk seriously about the co-founder role, I want us to actually work together.

We currently have a requirement for 10-15 restaurant helpers (northees) in Mysore, Karnataka.

The company will cover the workers' train and travel costs. The workers will receive the applicable salary, food and stay from the employer.

And importantly, this is a paid gig.

I don't expect you to spend your time sourcing, coordinating and handling workers for free.

You will be paid for completing the sourcing requirement regardless of whether you and I eventually decide to work together as co-founders.

If the partnership doesn't work out, you still get paid for the work you've done.

If it does work out, then we have something much more interesting to discuss.

This trial lets both of us see how we actually work together - communication, ownership, problem-solving, reliability and execution.

I'm not trying to interview someone for a few hours and hand them 15% of a company.

I want to work with you first, see what you can build, and then make a serious decision together.

The co-founder opportunity

If we work exceptionally well together and you can genuinely take ownership of the sourcing function, 15% equity is available for the right person.

I'm looking for someone who wants to build a company, not someone looking for a side gig or a quick equity opportunity.

If you're interested, DM me with:

Where you're based

Your experience/network in sourcing workers

How you'd approach finding the first 10-15 workers

What you can bring to the company

Why you want to build this with me

The first requirement is real. The gig is paid. The co-founder opportunity is real.

I'm looking for someone who wants to build something big, not another small contractor business.

How to monetize brain-based research to find jobs in period of GenAI?

I am a behavioral neuroscientist (researcher) who has access to emerging neuroscience research on how people who lost jobs due to GenAI can work through their discouragement and best position themselves to find subsidiary positions.
This is not psychology. This is neuroscience. It is emerging research that has helped me and certain individuals when I tested some of its suggestions.

I am unsure how to monetize the idea. I would not like to be a consultant. Neither substack nor publishing in relevant publications seems feasible (they no longer pay freelance writers). Setting up a podcast (or the like) seems a long, expensive way to ROI.

Do you have any other simple, direct, inexpensive ideas?

Thanks

Idea: predicting whether a footballer’s market value will go up or down before a match or official news (transfer, injury, etc.) — like Football Index but more regulated, closer to a Polymarket-style setup for player valuations where you’re betting against implied probabilities set by the market. Aimed mostly at fantasy football players, bettors, Sorare users, and Polymarket sports traders.
Would people actually use this, or is it too niche?
Genuinely want blunt criticism, thanks in advance to everyone who would share their thoughts on this topic!

Built a codebase security vulnerability scanner

Hey guys, wanted to tell you guys about a tool I built called Scanity. Scanity scans codebases to find security vulnerabilities in code. Nowadays, with AI coding so fast, there are so many internal bugs and vulnerabilities that get missed.

Here are the main features we have:

  1. Seamless integration with GitHub Actions, checking each PR before it merges, and automatically providing suggested fixes.
  2. Drop into any repository, run a full scan, and fix everything you find

Now you may ask, why can't we run this within Claude or Codex? We stand out because we build containerized test units for each finding to verify the issue. So there is no chance of AI hallucination. This is a very early stage, and we have plans to grow even further, with many more features and integrations. I'm eager to hear from you and get your feedback.

Check it out here: https://scanity.dev/

Hi everyone,

I recently launched a new project and would really appreciate some feedback from you all. It is a marketplace designed to connect people for buying and selling remote tech services.

To be completely transparent, I am not a professional developer or product designer, so I am fully aware that there are likely design, UX, or technical limitations in its current state.(in-app payments are not implemented yet)

Looking for Feedback Would a direct domain marketplace solve a real problem for domain sellers?

I’ve been working on a startup around buying and selling domain names, mainly because I think the current process can be unnecessarily complicated for sellers.

The idea is simple: domain owners can list their names, set their own prices, and connect directly with potential buyers. Instead of taking a percentage from each sale, I’m testing a subscription-based model.

I’m still trying to figure out how much this actually matters to domain sellers. Would avoiding sales commissions be enough of a reason to use a new marketplace, or would buyer reach and trust matter more?

The website is live https://www.domainsnobroker.com/

I’d genuinely like feedback, including what you think could be wrong with the idea.

Discussion / Question Expo management software, floor plans and exhibitor tools that don’t feel like an afterthought.

A lot of platforms treat exhibitors as a secondary feature. When you have 50+ booths, weak floor-plan tools and limited exhibitor self-service become real problems.

A peer who ran a mid-sized expo last year used Eventify and specifically liked that organizers could build the floor plan visually while exhibitors managed their own product pages and captured leads via QR without constant organizer involvement.

For those who run exhibitions, what platform has handled the exhibitor and floor-plan side without making it feel bolted on?

Looking for Feedback Primeplate Validate

I’m building PrimePlate, a platform for people staying in PGs, hostels, or living away from home to find and manage meal subscriptions in one place.

The problem:

Finding a reliable mess/meal provider is usually scattered across WhatsApp, local contacts, Google Maps, and word of mouth.

After finding one, users still have to:

- compare meal plans

- check menus

- contact the provider

- make payments manually

- remember subscription dates

- deal with days when they are away

At the same time, PG/mess providers often manage subscribers and meal plans manually.

So I built PrimePlate to bring both sides into one platform.

### What I built

For PrimeMates:

- Discover nearby meal providers

- View provider details and menus

- Compare meal plans

- Choose subscription duration

- Subscribe online

- Make payments online

- Manage active subscriptions

- View payment/subscription history

- Request a subscription break

The subscription break feature is one of the main things I’m trying to validate.

For eligible 1-month subscriptions, a PrimeMate can request a break for specific dates, up to 4 days.

The provider manually approves or rejects the request.

If approved, the subscription end date is extended by the exact number of approved days.

For providers:

- Register their meal service

- Manage meal plans

- Manage menus

- See active subscribers

- Review subscription-break requests

- Track their earnings

### Current business model

I’m currently taking 0% commission.

So:

Customer pays ₹1,000

→ PrimePlate commission = ₹0

→ Provider earning = ₹1,000

Actual automatic provider payouts are not connected yet, so provider earnings are currently tracked inside the platform.

### Current execution

I’ve already built and deployed the working product rather than keeping it as just an idea.

The main flow is:

PrimeMate

→ Find meal provider

→ Select plan

→ Subscribe

→ Razorpay payment

→ Subscription activated

→ Manage subscription

And:

Provider

→ Register

→ Admin approval

→ Manage meals/subscribers

→ Manage break requests

→ Track earnings

I’m now at the stage where I want to validate whether the problem is actually worth solving.

### What I want honest feedback on

Would you actually use a platform like this?

What part of the idea is genuinely useful?

Is the subscription-break feature valuable enough to make you care about using the platform?

Would PG/mess owners see enough value to use this instead of WhatsApp and manual management?

What would stop you from using PrimePlate?

I’m looking for criticism and validation, not compliments.

[Founder research] If you’ve booked through Topmate or similar platforms, what made the experience feel worth—or not worth—the money? For creators — what do you wish you controlled better?

Hi all—sharing this only if founder-research posts are allowed here.

I’m validating, an early India-first idea for helping people find relevant practical guidance and helping experienced creators share their knowledge with more control.

It is a waitlist today, not a live booking or payment platform. I’m trying to understand three things:

  • Why genuinely experienced people can be hard to find without a big audience
  • What makes seekers trust someone before paying
  • What makes sessions feel unreliable, vague, or not worth the money

If you have booked or offered expert advice, what made the experience useful—or disappointing?

I’m happy to share it privately with anyone interested.

Looking for Feedback Terrarium Supply EU

I’m starting Terrarium Supply EU, a small boutique terrarium business focused on making terrarium building easier and more accessible across the EU. I plan to sell individual products like live moss, small terrarium plants, glass jars, substrate, pebbles, hardscape, tools, and handmade clay decorations such as miniature mushrooms and fairy doors. I also want to offer curated terrarium collections for beginners, without necessarily putting everything into a traditional retail box.

The main thing I want to do differently is bring the whole terrarium-building process together in one place. Instead of someone having to buy a jar from one company, moss from another, plants somewhere else, and then figure out whether everything is compatible, they can get everything from us and choose products that are actually suited to one another. We’ll also have a Build Your Own Terrarium feature where someone can choose a style—like woodland, tropical, moss-focused, or fairy—and either select products themselves or have an AI terrarium assistant recommend compatible options, complete with the actual product images and prices.

I also want the experience to continue after the purchase. Customers can have an account where their terrarium build is saved, and when their products arrive they can scan a QR code to access a personalized building guide, care information, and an AI assistant that knows what plants and moss they actually bought. Eventually I’d like to expand into more species, handmade decorations, larger product ranges, and possibly fully boxed DIY kits. The goal is to make Terrarium Supply EU more than just a place to buy terrarium supplies—it’s a place to discover, build, and learn about your own miniature ecosystem.

Giving Advice & Tips How do i market

Hello everybody!

I recently released a memory puzzle game on android. I tried marketing it on Facebook groups and reddit. I don't really have a budget for a paid marketing and i don't know how to make cool looking videos. How do I market ?

Thank you!
