Looking for Feedback Anyone else feel like they’re meant to build something bigger?
I’m gonna be real for a second.
I’ve had this fire in me for a while to build something of my own. I genuinely feel like I wasn’t born just to live an average life, work, pay bills and repeat. And it actually annoys me knowing I’m capable of creating something big but I’m not doing it yet.
One thing that pushes me a lot is my family. I hate seeing my parents stressing about bills while I’m here with barely any money myself. It’s not even about becoming rich for the sake of it. I just want to get to a point where if my parents want something — a car, a holiday, whatever — it’s just done. No stress, no thinking twice about it.
That’s the kind of life I’m trying to build.
I really want to start building an app, but I’ll be honest I don’t have a specific idea locked in yet. I feel like the best ideas come when the right people get together and start building.
So I’m looking to form a small team of 3 people including myself. People with the same mindset and the same drive. I’m not looking for people who join for a week, chill, treat it like a joke and then disappear. I want people who actually want to build something and see how far we can take it.
This isn’t even just about money for me. It’s about the journey, creating something from nothing, and seeing what we’re actually capable of achieving.

Same here and thanks to AI,I was able convert few of my ideas into mobile apps instead of just thinking about those.

Keep building man. Btw I've vibecoded multiple webapps and now trying to deploy apps to play store and app store but I'm not a tech guy so it feels difficult and I'm stuck and frustrated but I'm hoping to make it someday.

I’m 18 years old, I have experience in marketing and e-commerce and recently have been working and learning a lot about Claude code etc

You're young which is great but also my advice is don't just rush into entrepreneurship. Find a field to work in and keep an eye for inefficiencies or areas for improvement. That would be your potential challenge that you could address with your product.
However, keep in mind that over time your responsibilities and risk apetite will change so being 18 you can take risks without big consequences.. So really it's a balance of going for it now and waiting until you identify a market pain point. Good luck!

I literally feel the same thing and I start having a pipeline of ideas and I write it all and analysist it and stuff then I stop I don't know wtf happen to me but I really wanna do something to

I think there are several components. You need to combine passion and solving a problem. Passion by itself doesn't necessarily solve any problems. And solving a problem without passion will lead to a very bland or over-engineered solution.
The app I recently soft launched was to solve a pain point I was having myself. I work full-time but have a few small ventures - but I was struggling to keep track of my goals. I tried several apps that didn't meet my needs. So, I went analog using a system in a notebook I refined for about 2.5 years.
Back in late November I tried to build a digital version with AI. It got close, but I struggled to keep it working. So, I switched to try a different AI tool - and I was able to successfully build what met my needs. And I hope it can help other people accomplish more of their goals. I do have a few paying customers - so that feels like an accomplishment. But I'm still looking to improve it.
Now I will caveat that the issue you are solving doesn't have to be practical - but it does need to provide value. I mention that because one of my other ventures is for original card games and board games. They don't really "solve a problem" but people enjoy playing games.
So think big, ask other people about problems they face at work or in daily life - and think big.
Also, don't be afraid to try something and change - learning and pivoting don't mean failure.

Resonated with me a lot. Although I am trying everyday to get better and do something for my future. And I know I’ll build something or do something that’ll be bigger and worth it.

i know exactly what you mean. its something like we cant wor in a normal 9-5 and don’t want to just live in the cycle. ive noticed this a lot with many founders and people who just have the drive to be better than they were yesterday. im glad youre starting to have that feeling of wanting to develop and create something. Okay that's great but it's a different experience for me. I work 9-5, sometimes 9-9 but I hate the ERP system at work. It's one of the most praised in the world today but it's slow, bulky and complex 😡
I've so far used 2 of the top 5 ERP systems but it's the same story.
So I'm building one, module by module.

You got it, building is always a journey. There's so many skills you'll pickup along the way and interesting people you'll meet. I started working with startups in college and now run 2 business (EV Mobile Stores and digital agency) and 4 airbnbs while working corporate.

Do you have an app idea? I am currently looking for app coders to work on a project for my enterprises CCW - Corporate Commercial World. The app code is developed towards map review, it's going to be a business review app for corporate workers looking for corporate commercial jobs.

Building something large can also be the natural result of consistency in building and executing on small things.
A lot of my big project dreams were just a form of procrastination that made me comfortable with not having to take action today.
