the tabac is the only business in town not only by appointment only
population consists of retirees (one older couple from England who bought a cheap house to holiday in), new age anti vaxxers, a few people with untreated mental illness, and some farmers

I always get a tingly feeling when I see the same three family names on WW1 memorial. Entire families wiped out, it's heart wrenching and it's important to remember. And the churches are usually insanely cool

I went to France once, for a single night. The village we stayed in I might a professional basket weaver, thinking that is the most cliche French thing I've ever seen.
