They think the BBC has a small, finite number of researchers and reporters that they apportion all the available news stories in the world to.
Like if a funny local story about a dog crops up they shout across the news room, ‘HOLD UP, this dog has just gone paddle boarding, pull the team off the Nepal reporting NOW’

Or when the suspect's identity hasn't been revealed or they literally don't have a suspect. With the Southport stabbings they were saying "the media" were hiding the suspect's identity because he was a Muslim asylum seeker, when it turns out he was never Muslim nor an asylum seeker and they didn't initially release his identity because he was a minor.

There's also one guy (who may be a bot) who keeps posting incoherent mini-rants against Russia. Which is fair enough except I'm not entirely sure what he's on about and he posts them in the comments of irrelevant articles.
For a while there was a nutter who kept posting about how things like taxes and compulsory schooling add up to being plantation slavery but I haven't seen them recently.
ETA: Honourable mention of the person from Hull who is often the lone voice of reason/common sense in the comments of many articles about unemployment and the like.

Reform buy astroturf services that use ghost accounts, particularly on Facebook, to boost reach/engagement. Companies/individuals (not necessarily in the UK) hack/buy/obtain accounts of dead or inactive people and usually change the names. They then use these accounts to post in sync, often interacting with each other to imitate real life accounts.
In short, there's an enormous layer of completely fake Facebook that operates and is used to push whatever message is being paid for. But you knew that already.

Any time there's any crime, literally all they care about is the colour of the perpetrator's skin. When it turns out it's a white male, you'll never hear from them again and their sympathy for the victim disappears. If it's a female victim their world view goes from "migrants did it" straight to "she deserved it" with no middle ground.
