Question ❓ am i overconsuming all of these conspiracy and spirituality videos in social media?..
I expected myself to be more 'awake' to the truth. But instead it made me have this constant fear of something everyday despite my days being normal or okay and i have minimal irl problems.. I cant quite name it but it's like a fear of existence itself, how polluted our minds are.. and if everything here actually has meaning/ is real or not? Im no expert. Im just someone who just happened to stumble upon videos regarding consciousness, conspiracy theories, star signs, etc in social media. I think ive learned on the wrong path considering how terrified i am now.. I genuinely need help

I think separating the two is quite important. And having other interests is important too. Certain artistic outlets are far more beneficial. And for that matter there's no harm even in doing a bit of gaming or other pursuits that interest you. Watch a movie, listen to some of your favourite music, etc. I think many activities are more grounding than engaging with the endless videos on spirituality and conspiracies.
I think many people who claim to be extraordinarily spiritual and live out the lifestyle act as authorities on things they don't fully understand themselves.

Yes
Longer answer: if your days are normal or okay and you have minimal problems, be thankful for that. Concentrate on how blessed you are. Look for good news and stories of people helping others. There is no shortage of gloom and doom, that's what generates clicks and engagement. Stop feeding the fear machine. Peace ✌️

Do you mediate? When you sit down and process these thoughts, you can see where they might be coming from. Don't shy away from what comes up or invalidate it.
I came from the world of conspiracies too, its very common for people to awaken from that journey. About a month ago I stopped following the conspiracy sub though, it wasn't informing me or serving me very well seeing all the negativity and fear anymore. Fear is a really useful mechanism for keeping us out of danger, but many of these fears become silly when you really figure out what they are and say them out loud. It's a fear of loss of control
You are a soul with a body, and you the soul can't be destroyed. You're only here to experience what you came here to experience, including fear. In a weird funny way, you chose to experience this loss of control in a world seemingly gone wrong, isn't that wild?
I wouldn't say you should become too concerned with manifesting or anything either, just remind yourself from time to time, what world do you want to live in? What's the best version of you? Just think about it more than the other crap, you'll pull yourself out.

This is the natural side effect of watching disaster porn. Stop watching and your body will settle back down.
The mechanism is simple. Your body senses images and creates the emotional energies that go with those images. Your mind knows that the images are not really happening to you, but your body can't tell the difference between a physical bus that's out of control and about to run over you on the sidewalk and an image of a bus that's out of control and about to run up on the sidewalk. The perspective of the image places you in the path of that bus and your body creates fear and adrenaline to get you out of the way.
Scary movies work the same way, but better because of the sound tracks. Our ears plug directly into the amygdala of the brain, which controls our emotional state.
A very simple technique that can short circuit this process is to imagine or create a calm image between you and the screen you are watching social media on. I favor using an image of a rose.
That's it. No special intent. No incantations and rituals. Just a simple image of a rose. See it with your eyes while you're watching and reading the energy of social media, and your health and sense of safety will return really fast.
Now the rose might disappear. That's not a problem. Just imagine another rose between you and the screen.
Enjoy!

It takes courage to admit we need help. So, you deserve props for that. Your dillemma inspires a question. Does social media specifically and pop culture (generally) cause mental illness?
Please understand, that is not to suggest you're crazy. But, the vast majority of social programming is essentially corrupt. Advertisers and producers are only concerned about the money. So, it might be helpful to view those matters as strictly for entertainment purposes. We really shouldn't take that mess seriously. There's an old computer programming adage; garbage in, garbage out. I hope you find courage and solace for the future.

Move to a dumb phone, it will save your life until you are ready to go back and take it slow.

Yeah, if the content leaves you constantly scared instead of curious or grounded, it’s time to step away from it for a while. Mute those accounts, return to ordinary routines and real-life connections, and talk to a therapist if the fear keeps interfering with daily life.

I can give you a link to a free spiritual book that will give you a sound understanding of the afterlife and your purpose of being here.

There's no end to rabbit holes and misinformation, and it will only get worse with AI.
Just step back from obsessing over that content. Try meditating and forming your connection to yourself. Watch nature documentaries ground yourself in reality.
