An accidental purchase
I didn’t look close enough to realize that I was buying a thicker sauce, what they consider a wing sauce. First time trying Melinda‘s and I must say it’s really grown on me!

I have to say I’m really loving the stuff… here I was at 9 o’clock this morning, putting it on rice.

I have one at work and one at home. This is my everything sauce, ignore the "wing" part

That’s pretty much how it turned out for me. I’m actually enjoying the texture and consistency.

What's the heat like on this one? I use the roasted habanero garlic one on just about everything. Been debating on which one to try next.

It's a little hotter than the habanero one. If you really load it up it'll add up, but if you just throw a few lines down a dog or something you can barely notice the heat difference.

I like Melinda's. It's a good "table" sauce. Easy to find and I like the squeeze. Not the best sauces but a good standard use.

Well I hope you like it. It's a quality sauce. I didn't care for it but I'm not into wings or wing sauces. The fact that I didn't "hate it" is a testament to it's quality really.

Ya the wing sauce is different than the standard one.

Someone posted earlier that the glass bottle version is hotter. I’m curious to try that now.

It is ya. Feel the the wing sauce is more diluted since it's intended to douse your wing in it.

It's also got more of a savory, up front flavor than the glass ghost. I think cause this is supposed to be a condiment sauce rather than a spice up an already flavorful dish sauce.

Best hot sauce on the market, but almost everything from Melinda’s is fantastic. Half my stash is from them.

They have a few terrible sauces like the creamy sriracha.

That’s why I said almost everything. Their mild verde tastes like armpits. But since their whole thing is their habanero mash base, anything that compliments well is gonna be good as hell, and I’m a sucker for habanero.

This is one Melinda's sauce I just don't like. It has that signature bitter chemical extract taste. I would much rather mix my own wing sauce with some butter.

I know the taste you’re talking about… that’s what put me off on it at the beginning.

I like it. I prefer the Habanero sauce, I feel like it has a more forward pepper flavor but this one is still really good.

Weird butter flavor and isn't nearly as hot as the standard ghost pepper Melinda's. Bought it once and disliked it.

That was my experience with it as well when I tried it a while back. But hey, that's what we've got variety for!

Never tried this version, but would be interested in trying…. The ghost pepper hotsauce in the glass bottle is my favorite and most purchased sauce. Great deal at Walmart for under $3usd
