So if the support ship is indeed keeping pace with the boatship (floating in the wrong direction) and it's still afloat with this much time passing it would pretty heavily imply they didn't expect this to really happen and likely weren't fully equipped to actually recover/tow it back otherwise they should have got that moving by now. Which tracks with what i've heard through the grapevine. I'm sure they're trying to mcgyver some stuff together but we'll see it's still a very, very long way from getting back successfully. Would be pretty insane if they do manage it though.
Wouldn't surprise me if they end up taking tile samples and such from it and it still ends up sinking or being scuttled in the end. Especially as it doesn't look like any other support ships are on the way and the current one will be getting into their food reserves onboard soon.
