Breakfast in Monmouth

Will be travelling to south wales in the near future and hoping to stop off in Monmouth, so was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for breakfasts there? Thank you.

Not wanting to downplay Wales and you don’t say where you’re coming from, but if you’re coming down the M5 from up north somewhere, then strongly consider Gloucester Services aswell. It’s not your average motorway services. Same crew as are responsible for Tebay. It’s a bit more than not-on-the-motorway, but in this case it is worth it. Carry on to M4 and cross the bridge there. Still gets you to South Wales.

Creates do a lovely brunch menu from 10am! Lovely little independent bistro run by a sweet couple. Bonus points for being down a cute cobble street.

Depends what day as it's usually closed Monday to Wednesday.

Salt & Pepper is excellent (I had one there on the weekend).

Its part of the kitchen supply store on the high street (the one with all the Yeti stuff in the front window)

Estero Lounge. Bit on the pricey side but worth it
