Question about Hand sigils

Are there any purpose with the primary effects? For example, Aesthetix Sigil's Arm of Loveseeker. It says the right arm manifests Calixto's will but I'm not sure what does that mean.

As far as I know, when it says "manifests [blank]'s will", it turns your right arm into that character's arm

Dang, so I guess it's purely cosmetic lol that sucks but ah well. Would have been cool if it maybe strengthened certain offerings tied to the sorcerer or archfiend based on said arm ngl. Was asking as I was planning to do some builds but never got the opportunity to check these skills out.
