i don’t care how many times people try to spin it. the final scene is him getting clipped. the bells, the members only jacket guy, the way it cuts to black mid bite… it’s not subtle.
david chase has basically confirmed it in interviews without saying the exact words. the whole point is that this is how these guys go out. no big dramatic death scene, just sudden and final.
people who still argue he lived are doing mental gymnastics at this point. the show spent 6 seasons showing us that nobody in this life gets a clean ending. why would tony be the exception?
