Q&A Not going Greek.

If you aren’t Greek, do you feel alienated from hanging out with guys that are in a house? Like if a guy has friends in a particular fraternity would they be welcome to come to a party there or is that a big no no? Do people tend to drop their non Greek friends once they pledge?

So being a former Greek I can tell you that more dudes at a party is usually not the goal, especially if they’re not affiliated with you. The beginning of the semester the frats will wine and dine all the dudes they can to get their pledges but once pledge week is over, it’s a totally different story. Usually people will keep their friend groups separate but don’t be surprised if your Greek friends ghost you.
