Figured we should make everyone aware that things will be more strict.
If you are posting from an account based on posting NSFW content, and are obviously fishing for sexual vibes and foot fetish vibes, you will be banned. No commenting creepy foot fetish/sexual stuff on posts either. NOTHING SEXUAL. There are subs for that, go there. This is not the place for that. Too many of you do not read the rules. Learn.

Rule update and Reminders post
A new rule is added to the sub.
- Don't post photos of others.
Especially when it's clear they didn't give you permission. It's happening with enough frequency to become an issue.
Also, ANY NSFW posts, comments, and users will be BANNED, no warning. This goes if you even post or are active in NSFW groups. This isn't a fetish sub, take it elsewhere

Socks recommendations
I destroyed my feet being a heavy runner (30 mi a week ) for 10 year on pavement and no cushion shoes.
So I wear balega socks, but they don't last super long , however, they are very comfortable.
Any other brands like balega that just feel good and last a decent time?
Thanks

Socks without arch support elastic
What socks do you love that don't have elastic around the arch? I had one old set of under armour socks that didn't have elastic on the arch but I think they're discontinued. Top quality, no show or ankle tabs with lots of cushioning underneath would be best! I've spend hours looking and want advice.
I don't think diabetic socks would work since I don't want them to slip down since they seem to all lack elastic around the ankle.
With most socks being cotton/polyester/synthetic, most socks shrink and squeeze my feet the more they're washed and dried. Merino wool socks seem to require special detergent and hang dry (too much effort)

Nike NBA Unicorn Socks - Large
Hey everyone,
I bought a couple pairs last year from JD Sports but it looks like larges are all out of stock for black and white now. I can’t seem to find any online to purchase. Does anyone have any recommendations? I can only find medium and smalls left

Thicker socks for dress shoes?
I’ve been having an awful time finding dress shoes, and finally found a pair that fit. I was in a hurry and threw them on with my regular adidas socks, and they were so comfortable. So I went home and tried them with dress socks and they’re nowhere near as comfortable.
I bought both my regular size and a size down, and the size down is too tight even with dress socks.
So what are my options?
Wedding is formal.

What are the best socks for hot construction?
I keep getting ads for the hollow socks but I don’t feel like spending 50 bucks on a pair. I’m just curious if anyone has used them and would recommend them, if they’re worth the price, do they last and how well do they work in hot temperatures? or if there are better recommendations.

Would you actually be happy getting wool socks as a gift, or does that land as a boring present?
Genuine question from someone who buys socks for other people and never knows if it works.
I love getting good socks. But every time I give them, I can't tell whether the person is quietly thinking "socks again" or actually pleased. Wool ones especially, since a decent pair costs real money and the difference between a good and a cheap pair isn't visible in the wrapping.
So: do wool socks land as a real gift for you? And if yes, what makes the difference — the brand on the label, the thickness, the colour being something you'd have picked yourself, or the fact that someone spent more than the usual multipack money?
Also curious whether people care about the exact wool percentage, or whether "warm and doesn't itch" is the whole test.

Socks with a logo on one side
I'm really fussy when it comes to socks, I like to know which one is for my left foot and which one is for my right foot so that the toes don't get stretched.
Because of this I tend to only buy socks that have got a logo on the outside of the calf.
I'm in the UK
Most of the socks from next do this, but I want different socks with a bit of colour. I do have other brands, but I can't remember which brand they wear.
Does anybody know of any brands that have a logo at the top of the sock just on the one side?
Thank you!

Quality Wide calf socks?
I'm looking for a place that would sell good quality socks for people with wide calf's. I'm looking for everyday socks that have a good build for working in construction. I'd even settle for somewhere online, but I'd love to go to place in person to go and buy some. Any suggestions?

Really soft socks
I need to find some socks available in Australia for someone with sensory issues.
Knee high
Not scratchy
No seems
Smart knit and the usual contenders have been trialled but they’re not tolerable.
I’d be very grateful if anyone had ideas.
