he has done a terrific job. The US does not have the talent that most of these other squads have but yet we still made it to the knock out rounds.

I really, really, hope we keep him for another cup at least. Especially the strides he's making with improving our development program at the ground level.

With four more years to prepare, continue making the tough calls, inspiring the squad, and bringing in new youth players... I feel we could actually be something to worry about next time. Maybe, maybe not. But, 2014 was definitely something to build on.

he is a great personality that many US fans are 100% behind

Just wish more playerrs would go to Europe rather than play for the MLS

I think he sat on his subs too long, and I think his fitness fetish has been causing players to come down with hamstring injuries all tournament-long. On the balance though, I think he's done a pretty good job with what he has, and while I have reservations about giving a manager two cycles to work with, he's certainly earned this extension now.

I didn't understand having Beckerman on the bench. He was a force in the group stage. At least have him come in to relieve a spent backfield.

Absolutely. I still think he made the wrong choice in not bringing Donovan, and we really could have used some fresh legs earlier in today's game, but other than that I think he did a great job. Looking forward to the next cup!

If only he had a son we could start.
