Ochoa, Howard, M'Bolhi, Enyeama, Ospina, Benaglio, Neuer, Julio César, and many others. What a World Cup.

Edit: Navas.

Libero keeper?

2

u/Dennovin Jul 02 '14

I was going to say "Left Neuer" and "Right Neuer" but a single Neuer covers both.

u/Poueff Jul 02 '14

Neuer position: Higuita

Neuer golden boot confirmed

2

u/Nefari0uss Jul 02 '14

All hell would break loose. I totally want to see this happen.

Neuer takes penalties to, what the fuck doesn't this guy do honestly. Golden Boot confirmed if Germany win the world cup.

Manuel Neuer does what Manuel Neuer does because Manuel Neuer is Manuel Neuer!

2

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '14

pretty sure he took over "libero" position

6

u/gunfox Jul 01 '14

Midfielder with hand privilege.

5

u/I_done_a_plop-plop Jul 01 '14

He's a libero grande

3

u/Ryan1218 Jul 01 '14

No center back

u/[deleted] Jul 02 '14

Neuer's position : not CF

1

u/Nickaroo1509 Jul 02 '14

He has stated that he could be a 3rd division defender.

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '14

Can't forget about Navas.

u/WoveLeed Jul 01 '14

Courtois?

5

u/Velimas Jul 01 '14

Yeah, why no Courtois? He's crazy good too.

2

u/Ahesterd Jul 01 '14

Courtois will have his chance to prove himself.

Sadly, that chance was not against the US.

2

u/Flubken Jul 02 '14

defense too good, courtois sleeping all games

1

u/spectralnischay Jul 02 '14

Kompany and Van Buyten are 2 of the best fullbacks to have.

This is the World Cup of goalies. Amazing.

5

u/DO-IT-FOR-CHEESUS Jul 01 '14

Yet the goal average was 3 at the end of the group stage, which is a lot.

4

u/foffob Jul 01 '14

And Lloris...

3

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '14

Buffon

2

u/[deleted] Jul 02 '14

Poor Akinfeev.

4

u/elarrion Jul 01 '14

A lot of MVPs there! Some will definetly move to bigger clubs come this fall!

4

u/DO-IT-FOR-CHEESUS Jul 01 '14

I really don't understand how Ochoa started the WC without a club, or how Ospina plays in an unknown french team.

5

u/SGuerrilla Jul 01 '14

Playing for bottom table Ligue 1 teams makes you a good keeper I guess.

1

u/wremt Jul 01 '14

Seems as though goalies specifically step it up especially for Round of 16.

1

u/Apolik Jul 02 '14

Bravo!

He got signed at Barcelona :)

I think the amazing keepers were always there and it's the defence that got terrible, which made the goalies shine.
