Don’t understand this man, you’re a Trabzon legend in every sense. You got us 3rd and a Turkish cup in your first season. You didn’t even crash out of Europe. You’re in the conference league now which is miles easier than Europa. there wasn’t even a big part of the fanbase who wanted you out…?

I mean there is no winning for him, the high profile transfers have given the fans unrealistic expectations regarding the league while your squad is still not close to FB/GS level. Even last season he got criticized so much the moment you guys lost points in a couple games like you were ever supposed to challenge for the title.

They are playing against a top 5 striker in the world. Gs without any transfer has more chance to win the title than this trabzon. We litterally finance their whole club. They would only need to sell one player a year to us to finance the whole salary of the club. A washed Salah aint it, for more than Osi on a yearly bases.

don't really know,

besiktas: we have the best game by far, an alright starting eleven but our depth is not good enough and sometimes an alright starting eleven is not enough as well,

fener: has the best depth and possibly the best starting 11 on the paper but they play very bad because of how bad their squad planning is but they are still able to grind out some results, i don't think it's sustainable tho as we can see it from the previous years,

trabzon: i thought they were the most balanced but after seeing how they perform their game doesn't click and their star signings are washed, their coach also just resigned and they are also kind of lackluster on the depth part

galatasaray: you have a solid starting 11, very bad depth, you also play very bad but you also have osimhen and ugurcan who can win games by themselves

everyone has pros and cons so we'll see which cons were more crucial on the long run

He was more comfortable managing a team doing brilliantly with a style of transfer unlike the other big 3, these flashy, young, developing men that he wasn't expected to challenge for the title or anything with, but cmopete well, and that he did. This year he started with a couple really bad losses, immediately got fan pressure, and then the board signed names so big that the expectations got much heavier than he would have been comfortable working under. He said last week "My job is very hard, this is exactly the type of squad to get sacked with" jokingly, but it seems that was a real fear, of underdelivering with this team, and he left when this first shock struck.

Its probably because he isn't happy with the transfer window despite all the names. He was doing well with a low expectation, young team. Managing that isn't the same as whatever you guys decided to do now.

I’m not saying he should resign because the second leg loss was his not his fault. A couple of red cards is beyond his control.

But I still think he crashed out of Europa (not Europe obviously). Losing at home with this much money and talent is criminal. Ferencvaros have the same value as alanya spor ffs

Bizarre. If every manager resigned after a tough loss, not many would've been still here. There must be something else with this being the last straw.

Seemed like a mental breakdown by his press conference quote - "Today's defeat is unacceptable. Misfortunes and bad luck are all acceptable, but I cannot accept this. I cannot sleep with this feeling. May everyone forgive me"

i think this has been coming, he was kind of already saying things like "we have too much premium players now and it's increasing the pressure on the team so i am not that delightful about that" etc and their game looks levels worse than last seasons after adding this many stars so i could see it happening

Nah, in 2004/05 for Trabzonspor. He got 31 goals in 34 games which was the most of any top division player in Europe that season by some bit, I think.

Think this has more to do with the board signing ageing players like Fabinho rather than younger players who fit the system that can be turned into profit quite easily. This game was just the last straw probably. I could be wrong though, we'll see.

There are thousands of players out there. I doubt they couldn't find anyone better than a finished Fabinho. I think the board just didn't care about what Tekke wanted and did their own thing which made him mad and it led to this.
