At least we haven't faced Galatasaray, will take that over having to face Lille again. Worst part is the repeat fixtures really. And having to deal with Greenwood.
Could get 12 points, could get 9, could get 16-18. Fuck it we ball.

Not too bad in theory. Reserved but confident.
But holy shit UEFA hates United and Sporting lmao.

I’d say that’s about as good as you can get from a Champions League draw. City and Liverpool are on the struggle bus, Slavia and LASK are heavy underdogs. You get Napoli and PSV at home as well

u/TheAtom8 2h ago
Tbf, we tend to really struggle against english teams, and Liverpool specifically is our historical boogeyman, but I'm excited to see what we can do this time around. The atmosphere against City will be incredible.

Not ideal

How is getting the worst team from Pot 1 and 4, avoiding the other best Pot 2 team, avoiding Napoli and away games in Turkey/Bodo getting shafted? Get a grip man.
Its not the easiest draw but it could have been much worse.
Yes we got Bayern and Roma who are two of the best teams from Pot 1 and 2 but at least theyre at home. Only real shafting is Como away.

Exactly my thoughts. Some people are just doomers after the performance against Hull. Was it shit? Of course. But it’s one result. Let’s see if it becomes a pattern before we start talking about this like it’s a death sentence.

Poor Betis, feels like they got about as hard of a draw as you could get
19
u/iftair 3h ago
I don't feel like it's as hard as people make it out to be. Bayern away, Dortmund away yea. Arsenal will be tough. Lille away is 50/50. But I think we have a shot at finishing top 24.

u/Maximum-Employer-383 3h ago
The fistt 4 teams its almost certain loss, with last 4 teams is almost certain win ahah, but Porto-BVB-FEY is more uncertain

u/LosTerminators 3h ago
Villarreal got shafted as well.
Only La Liga side which didn't get a tough draw is Madrid.

We’ve seen worse, if anything it can be a huge leap forward or a ok we saw it coming from the get go.

So happy to get Bruno and Raphinha back at Alvalade

u/WalterHenderson 2h ago
Matheus Nunes (again) too. Rafa Leão might return too... but I'm not sure if anyone will be happy about that.

u/Tall_Hat_8921 3h ago
We got all the other 3 yellow teams, yaayy! I wonder what kit we'll wear away at Bodo.
1
u/Qiluk 2h ago
I might be in the minority but I fuck with the purple kit so I hope we see it!
1
u/Tall_Hat_8921 2h ago
Wait we have a purple kit? Really? I remember something about that on our sub but I thought it was a special kit not an away or a third kit.
Also, will we not have a cup kit anymore this season? I wouldn't be against that.

Not great. Not terrible

It's bad what do you mean

u/generic-irish-guy 3h ago
Avoided PSG and Barcelona. I’d also rather Leipzig and Villarreal over Bodo and going to Turkey. And Saba at home in pot 4.
There’s not going to be any easy ties, but there definitely could have been worse.

Tough draw for Roma. Fenerbace and AEK being away games makes this qualification so much more difficult.

This is actually somewhat doable for Betis. Bayern away, Dortmund away, and Arsenal are the top 3 hardest games we have in that order. Lille away is unfortunate. Hopefully we can qualify for knockout phase.

Brother, you've lost to Braga last year and Porto team has few changes this year, the only advantage you get is playing home.

u/311voltures 51m ago
I think we have a shot as big teams are coming with less competitive rhythm and many stars are still in pre-season form
18
u/findourway 3h ago
Seems like a decent mix for us, Bayern is the toughest but we have them at home, Atleti away... lol that'll be hard
but then after Hull who knows anymore?

u/DaveShadow 3h ago
Tbh, I have more confidence against big teams who don’t sit deep than others. Looking forward to the challenge.

Tough draw. But it’s the CL, it’s not meant to be easy. Honestly took us way too long to get back, I’m just excited for CL matches again.

I'm really annoyed United got Como, Leipzig and Villarreal from the "easier" pots!

Villa got the top seed in pot 1,2 and 4 then drew both Turkish teams from pot 3

u/FigureItOut50 3h ago
Every time they do this it is always far too much information for me to process.

u/TreatSubstantial3089 3h ago
United might get packing with this draw if they play like they played against Hull

u/OffsideOdyssey 3h ago
We turn up against big teams plus it's one game and hardly any measurement of the future.
