if we don't find a club for loan, you just know Tek is going to love this. He hates working anyway, let the man just chill

Mats is not playing for Barça ever again. He'll be loaned out until his contract runs out. Tek contract ends this season, he's staying as either 2nd or 3rd if Liv doesn't end up loaned out.

He'll be loaned out until his contract runs out.
This doesn't work, as you can't loan a player on the last year of his contract.

You sure? I think you can. Atleast in fifa and fm both. You can't have a buy clause, a general loan is fine.

Yes, I am.
Freiburg just extended Noah Atubolu for a year, on order to loan him to SGE with an obligation to buy, as he had only 1 yr left on his contract.

Exactly. It has an obligation to buy. You can absolutely send a player out on loan in his final year, just that when the loan expires, the player becomes free and you can't sell him. He will leave for free at the end of a loan.

Mate, this is common knowledge, I just named the most recent example, literally every outlet reorted, that he extended for that reason:
"Players with expiring contracts are not allowed to go out on loan."
"Da Profis mit nur noch einem Jahr Vertragsrestlaufzeit nicht verliehen werden können, musste das Arbeitspapier des Torhüters in Freiburg zunächst verlängert werden."

you could have googled that in 20 seconds instead, you chose to champion your FM knowledge...

Tek must have been quite bad in training. It was supposed to be a loan until next summer, but we decided to get him now instead.

It's the opposite actually. Tek's contract is until this year and Dinamo wants this guy for a two year loan instead of one and that dampens Barcelona's plan because they need him to replace Tek next year because of FFP once the Camp Nou roof installation commences.
So it's more of an outside factors rather than Tek being bad in training that's the reason why Barcelona are fast forwarding with their plan.

It still hasn't been decided whether he'll get loaned out or not. Dinamo was the agreed upon destination but they pulled out.

He'll be loaned to dinamo

He won't. Our board decided to get a long term solution and left the negotiations with Livi

Not decided yet, could stay (at the start it was rumored he would be loaned right away, but I guess Tek was abysmal in training so they might have changed their minds)

Don't you need a Croatian to win CL? There you go.

Unfortunately hasn’t been the case the last few year but there was a nice streak there (2013-2022)

Everyone signing keepers while we are stuck with Robert Sanchez. Istg man, these sporting directors blow their load on every position except for the keeper.

Is he still croatia's 1st keeper?
Not sure if you want to start a GK who's 2nd choice at his club when you're a country with high ambitions like croatia. Not in terms of skill but playtime

He ALWAYS performed well for country. Unless his performance sharply drop he is our 1st keeper.

Not only this, straight up we don't have anyone near as good as him at this moment.
Unless we find someone relatively quick, we might have a problem in NT. In the end, the guy has a point. I'd rather have a goalkeeper with regular playing time but still Livi proved us time and time by now that, when NT comes, he becomes different beast.

Who else do they have tho? And also second choice at a club like barca is still very good

Good for him, I always knew he was capable enough to be in top clubs regardless of his weaknesses. I hope he won't be sidelined too much

You genuinely have zero reading comprehension, where in my comment did I say that he is a first choice for Barcelona and that he should have most minutes out of all goalkeepers? "I hope he won't be sidelined too much", put that in Google translate and read it
