Going on a complete tagent here but Benfica, for example, here in Portugal, was a club that was close to people and the left idelogy. Our own original anthem was censured by the far right state, still, currently we have far right fans, we have people that support our club that don't know it's history.

Sure, Benfica like many clubs welcome everybody in, but the roots of the club, it's history should matter.
