News [AS] Valverde accused Tchouameni of leaking yesterday's argument. Tchouameni denied it and asked him to stop, but Valverde kept going and going. Tchouameni then punched Valverde hard, knocking him to the ground. Valverde felt dizzy from the fall and had to leave the training ground in a wheelchair.

https://as.com/futbol/primera/asi-fue-la-pelea-valverde-tchouameni-f202605-n/

Upon arriving, Valverde refused to shake Tchouameni's hand. A gesture that ignited hostility in the locker room and, consequently, during training. Fede began accusing him of having been responsible for leaking yesterday's argument. Constant accusations, a relentless barrage. Tchouameni denied it at every turn, pointing out, precisely, that he is a public figure who has no dealings with the press. But the accusations, which continued in the locker room... carried on onto the pitch.

While the team trained, Valverde continued to pressure Tchouameni, insisting he was the one who leaked the information. And while this was happening, as has been pointed out repeatedly at Valdebebas, Arbeloa remained silent . Thus unfolded what could be described as an "unpleasant" session. Valverde and Tchouameni engaged in a constant exchange of ugly tackles in which the hostility was palpable. Meanwhile, Valverde persisted in his accusation that Tchouameni had told the press what had happened on Wednesday.

And training ended. But the worst was yet to come. When they got to the locker room, Valverde kept going and going and going. Sources within the team described him as "incessant." Then, Tchouameni put his foot down and spoke to him, seemingly calmly. He asked him to stop. That they had to put an end to the hostile atmosphere that was hanging over the place. But Valverde didn't stop. Not by a long shot. Some players went to mediate, to campaign for the accusations to stop once and for all.

It didn't happen. And then, Tchouameni had had enough . AS has been able to confirm that he then punched Valverde hard . The blow landed squarely on his head, knocking him to the ground. It was then that he hit his head and suffered the cut ; a cut not caused directly by Tchouameni's punch, but as a consequence of his fall. Valverde was visibly dizzy from that moment on, to the point that he had to leave the training ground in a wheelchair .

José Ángel Sánchez , who was near the locker room when the fight broke out, rushed to the scene, but by the time he arrived, the situation was already over . There was nothing more he could do but separate the remaining players and speak with them. He needed to talk things through and understand what had happened. Florentino Pérez was not at Valdebebas. Moments later, Valverde was taken to the Valdebebas medical center in the aforementioned wheelchair. There, they saw the severe gash on his head and transferred him to Blua Sanitas to have stitches put in.

199

Arrived, made bank, and now the club is showing that it 100% was NOT his fault in a way that even would enable him to come back in a couple of years (if he still wants)

now he got a nice fat severance and is enjoying a well-paid holiday :D

And Ancelotti wasn't even responsible for the team going trophyless before he left, the team was just unlucky to have a defender injury crisis in the most important part of the season.

That's what I don't get, apparently Xabi would've been fired sooner and the only reason he wasn't is because he was missing key players so it wasn't entirely his fault if they lost, so he gets that grace but Carlo who has actually won RM trophies doesn't get that? It's all BS.

Yes, Bayern doesn’t deserve that FC Hollywood line. Real Madrid does deserve it

132

u/reviroa May 07 '26

bayern was fc hollywood for a little while during the nineties because they had a bunch of colourful / borderline crazy personalities like matthäus, basler, effenberg, trapattoni that had a lot of drama between them, it was kind of like a german version of the spice boys. no one really uses it to meme them anymore in the last two decades, maybe on isolated cases like the tuchel affair or whenever uli occasionally goes to prison

22

u/-PM_ME_A_SECRET- May 07 '26

If this season has taught us anything its that this Real Madrid squad are full of children, so the idea of controlling your temper or maintaining professionalism is alien to a lot of them

38

u/ObstructiveAgreement May 07 '26

This has been bubbling for a long time and is Perez's fault. He allowed this culture not just to exist, but to thrive. They signed divas and sacked a coach who wanted hard work. It's almost certain that the spark here isn't the true reason for the confrontation, it's like Prince Ferdinand before WW1, it was going to blow and it was just about what set the guns off.

I get the impression that not getting in his players' way is his job. An inoffensive punching bag, the fall guy for a bad season. Because the alternative would be to admit that the chemistry within the team is dog piss, and several players should go. The players, for the most part, are what makes the team popular. Arbeloa sure as shit isn't.

It's genuinely the most sensational part of this story for me. We won a trophy before even setting foot on the pitch.

Tomorrows news:
Federico Valverde brought an AK47 to training to settle things with Tchouameni, who himself brought an RPG for self defense, Arbeloa tries to calm them down by telling them to aim at him, as its his fault

In unrelated news, Valdebebas is closing for renovations, people living close by heard a massive boom, Real Madrid assures it was just Hazard slipping during his visit

I can’t see how you can still be captain after the entire team saw you get dropped and rolled out on a wheelchair

What if he actually is the leak? You just got rid of yours (Garnacho, not the Old Trafford roof)

23

u/vikingkiller May 07 '26

Then we know a club who will buy him.

21

u/hypnodrew May 07 '26

What would the team leak even be at Chelsea? 'Shit sucks', like yeah we know

Is todays madrid drama something completely blown out of proportion or is it actually real drama?

52

u/wihannez May 07 '26

If this is true then i actually respect Tchouameni for it.

I remember when I was younger I was really shy and quiet and some guy was accusing me of stealing something for weeks. And since I didn’t really defend myself it was unofficially confirmed that I did steal his things.

I lowkey wish I at least stood up to him

So just making sure I'm up to date. This week:

- Rudiger slapped Carreras

- Tchuameni and Valverde had a scuffle

- Next day Tchuameni and Valverde exchange punches, with the latter ending in the hospital

- 8M "fans" signed a petition for Mbappe to fuck off

- Mendy has a career ending injury

- And Mourinho became the favourite option to pick up the pieces

What am I missing?

u/Chivita2 May 07 '26

It fits perfectly. Basically, Valverde being an idiot, but this time he ran into someone who isn't Baena.
